Sure the sandwiches are great but the macaroons are to die for!! Love the fact that it's in a recycled shipping container.
great coffee and breakfast. Awesome breakfast pastries!! I love the ham and Gruyere croissants and the chocolate croissants, though the almond croissants and sausage brioche are also great options. The macrons are delicious and there's always a wide selection of flavors. There are two sandwiches options daily, one of which is always vegetarian. High marks for using all local ingredients. The staff are friendly and always willing to explain the selections.
Citysearch Editorial Review. As if Austin's culinary-mobile landscape wasn't already interesting enough, this mobile European-style cafe sets a new level of ooh-la-la: It's a shipping container designed with a sliding side to open the serving area to include the grassy ground it rests on. Its name is the space--a box. With simple, luscious pastries, sandwiches and an oven to render the above toasty and warm, this is a mobile cafe with enough design elements to keep any hungry or architecture-obsessed types very interested. Victoria Davies and Dan Berezcki are committed to recycled materials and leaving a light carbon footprint, and utilize goods from local, organic, and sustainable resources, including the Sustainable Food Center.
