Don't miss having a drink at Peche! Fantastic bartenders and cocktails! And the biggest Absinthe fountain I've ever seen!
Word to the wise on Peche: Owner Rob Pate is there almost every night, so when you arrive, ask for him. In lieu of a cocktail menu consultation, simply wave Rob to your table, and ask him to predict a drink that you will like. Rob is a libations soothsayer, and though this is an absinthe bar (Austin's first), the real treat is taking that first sip of a drink specifically predicted to suit your taste buds. This is how I discovered the (off menu) Fig Manhattan -- earthy, rich, and perfect.

Pre-prohibition goodness serving up the Green Fairy (Absinthe) accompanied by the old fashioned "drip system", the Hemingway w Chartreuse, and a selection of gins and bourbans that appeal to the most discerning of savants.
Very disappointed. We asked for specific brands and the waiter didn't ask for an alternative brand when they ran out and randomly chose one . They even served us whisky tonic. Amazing
Totally digging the old jazz standards they play. It just seems so right when drinking cocktails.
A comprehensive absinthe list and a drink menu littered with cocktails from the show, Peche is the mixology bar. Our favorite is the NY Sour with Makers Mark, lemon, simple, and a red wine float.

Where do I start..Butter Lettuce Salad with Avacado comes w a slice of the most amazing cheese. Meatball dish was slightly spicy & stuffed with cheese. Delicious. Tried to come back before I left.
fantastic cocktails, particularly anything with egg whites.
Arguably the best boutique bar I've been to. Awesome service.
Super cocktail list. Start at the top and work your way down!!!!!
Reader tip: For some of the best cocktails in town, go to Peche on 4th Street. They make their own bitters as a sign of their devotion.
Try the bourbon old fashioned with angels envy...tastes like bubble gum!
