Biker Bar???. Poor service, horrible atmosphere.

I was excited to find a new bar with a volley ball court opening up. I took my family out last Saturday and it appears to still be a run down biker bar.

I suggest avoiding this place at all cost.

low key bar, biker friendly. I like Weirdo's for the atmosphere, great looking staff, and come as you are style.

Nice atmosphere. This place is great if you want to hang with friends but don't mind being surrounded by noisey people. The outdoor vollyball courts are awesome and the people this place attracts are usually laidback locals looking to throw back a few drinks on the weekend. And yes, you usually have to order your own drinks at the bar yourself, but whats different than any other bar?? Nice alternative to the 6th street escapades we usually take part in. The inside usually stinks like sewer water though, but who sits inside anyways? haha.

What is this place?. If I could give it a zero I would. One beer and out is the best thing I can say because we could not get anyone to wait on us. In passing I asked our tall blond watress to bring us a menu twice but to no avail. I think she was just too busy talking to the volleyball folks. They were not ordering anything but their company must have been better than earning a living. This place needs to decide if it is a kids playground, a park, a resturant or a bar because trying to be all of those is well.... JUST WEIRD!

Music there sucks, waitresses are annoying. I went with some friends and we went when there was some live music, the music there was absolute garbage, I dont even know where they find these people.

The waitress we had seemed annoyed that she had to work and was slow. Waitress would get drinks and stop by her friends and talk while our drinks were waiting.

I would NOT go here again, there is nothing "weird" about this place. The only thing I find remotely "weird" is how they manage to stay in business.

Great Atmosphere - Horrible Service. Great hang out spot, courts are great the only problem is there are leagues almost every night so free play is very restricted. I have often seen managers sitting around while the waitresses are slammed or nowhere to be found. Overall it's pretty cool and dog friendly;)

New Austin Fave. Weirdo's is just one of those hole in the wall Austin places that attracts everyone from families of four to bikers to singles and all types of Austin "weirdos". The food consistents of bar favorites like cheese fries, sliders, and burgers. Definitely not a place for those watching your figure but that's not fun anyways and Weirdo's is all about the fun. They have a great outdoor patio which is sure to be packed this summer and they welcome dogs which is another plus. Weirdo's hosts local artists and bands and has live music pretty much every weekend. You can check their website for a full schedule. If you are looking for an unpretentious neighborhood bar and grill that you can sit back, watch the game, enjoy some hot food and a cold beer you have found it with Weirdo's. Put this on your list of places to check out pronto!

I have found a second home. This is exactly what north Austin needed. A cool place to sit back, watch some TV and have a couple of drinks. BIG deck outside to enjoy the sand volleyball tournaments and hang out with your dog. Yes dog, they are dog friendly. They also allow kids during the day.There is a playscape for them to hang out/ Happy hour can get a bit packed so junior may not have too much fun. I didn't stay for lunch or dinner, but the kitchen smells were tempting. NEXT time i will. DEFINATELY PLAN on going back. Great job and good luck!!! We need more places like this
