not impressed.
I just discovered this place last night, and well honestly I just can't get behind the comments of my fellow reviewers. The food was good (except for the risotto balls that were like sad rice hush puppies) and the decor was nice, but the service was beyond terrible. Maybe it is because we sat outside, but I don't think there is any excuse for getting ignored by your waiter and having to pre-bus your own table so that somebody's elses server can bring you an entree that is by this point almost cold. Call it fine dining if you like, but having the best food in the world is pointless if your people can't get it to the table. Yes it was good, but not that good. I would not eat here again after that experience, and would not recommend it, unless you're into getting neglected and poorly served by cute but clueless waiters.

Citysearch Editorial Review.
This husband and wife team have been turning out European classics for well over a year. Off the beaten path off of Lake Austin Boulevard resides the house that's home to Fabi & Rosi, formerly the old Zoot locale. Reasonably priced culinary gems with a food-friendly wine and beer list that is equally as easy on the wallet. I'll drink (and eat) to that. Dressy enough to put on your Saturday night best, but this is Austin so come as you are. Opened for dinner and a newly added brunch.

THE BEST VALUE IN AUSTIN.
This place gets my vote as the best value in Austin. The price points here are insane: this is a good European restaurant at Austin prices. If you can find a better place for the money, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IT IS!
They also have a wonderful Sauternes for dessert for $8. No other Austin restaurant can boast that.
