great deck builders. I can't recommend the work that Matthew did at our house enough. We were doing a complete remodel of the house we purchased recently, and we had 2 large decks (~650 sq ft each) that had to be redone.

I do a LOT of research before I make decisions and I contacted at least 5-6 deck builders to get estimates and understand how they would build the deck. While Artisan Decks wasn't the cheapest, they provided me the best balance of price and quality of work.

Matthew knows a lot about building decks and he answered my questions with ease and patience. He was very knowledgeable about the industry, the costs involved, pros and cons of different materials and ideas to improve the deck.

The otrher thing I liked about Matthew is that he was onsite every day, building the deck with his crew. So if I wanted anything fixed up, he was available to pretty much do it immediately.

His crew also made sure all the debris from the old deck was hauled off/backyard was cleaned before they left. And I had many contractors in the house (flooring, painting, electrical, etc) and Matthew and his crew were the best at cleaning up after the work was done.

All in all, I couldn't recommend the work more - if you are looking for someone to build you a solid, great looking deck, call Artisan Decks.

We love our decks!. Our upper and lower decks were literally rotting off the house when we asked Artisan Decks to re-build them.

They prepared drawings of our house that showed different configurations, including placing the decks in several different places.

They were very willing to work within our budgetary constraints.

During the project, the workers showed up at the same time every day, and went right to work.

The difference between the old and new decks is remarkable! The quality of construction and workmanship is obvious. We look forward to enjoying our Artisan decks for many years.

Excellent job, easy to work with. Matt recently completed an extension of an elevated deck plus a full cover for us. He had some good suggestions for improving our plan, and had the lowest of the three quotes we got. The project turned out extremely well and shows great quality and attention to detail. Very dependable and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Great folks, quality work. Matt and Ashley were really great to work with, very friendly and patient with my slow decision making. They provide beautiful autocad drawing of the project so it is really easy to see what it will look like. Matt was on site every day making sure the quality was there. They kept the yard nice and tidy during the building process too. My neighbors love the finished product!

Very Satisfied Customer. Matt and his crew were great! I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do in my backyard. We have an awkward space and didn't know where to start or what we could do with it. I had called 3 deck companies out for estimates. Matt (the owner) came out and met with us, took a look at the project and came up with some really great design suggestions. We were very happy with the process as well as the final product. Matt was onsite every day and was always willing to answer any questions we had. I'm proud of my beautiful deck and would definitely recommend Artisan Decks to anyone who is looking for a new deck.
