Spinners sucks.
I got a restaurantdotcom certificate this evening for Spinners and went to use it a few hrs ago. I gave them the cert, ordered the food, and when the bill came the waitress said, you know what we
don't accept these anymore. The manager then comes by and says, sorry, we told restaurantdotcom to take it off, so we don't accept them anymore. Needless to say they refused to accept the cert, and I was annoyed. Call the owner if you want, was the suggestion we were given.
Now I'm not one to generally complain, but there is no chance I would have even thought about going to that place if I hadn't seen the ad and gotten the coupon on the website. If the restaurant was no longer accepting the coupons, they should have put up a notice, or at least told us when taking the coupon.
The 'manager' who did not want to irk the owner by accepting the coupon, raises several concerns. First, that her owner would tell her not to accept gift certificates indicates a financial crunch where they cannot even back up their advertising. Second, that a person claiming to be a manager did not have the authority to accept the certificate anyway, seeing as how it achieved its intended purpose.
I'm not looking for a refund or any sort of compensation from Spinners. I just want to wish them the speedy failure that often befalls such badly managed and shoddy places. Judging by the crowd that was only there for the free poker night, and that nobody was actually buying anything, I think Spinners is well on its way to losing a lot of money. I think it is fitting.…
not a friendly place for women. I went on a sunday night. There weren't very many people and I had driven from Taylor to meet a few friends there. When I arrived I sat at the bar with my friends and the bartender passed by me a few times before I had to flag her down to grab me a beer. When another male companion of ours showed up it took her all of 5 seconds to come over and start flirting and take his order. I had planned on staying longer but decided it wasn't worth my time. I didn't tip her I will not go back and I will let people I know not to go because of the service…
AWESOME!.
Was hungry and called in an order for takeout. Sent my son to pick up the order and bring home. We were curious and hopeful the food was good and plentiful since this was our first time to try
Spinners.
Well....AWESOME! The portions were large and very very tasty. Will do Spinners many more times!…
nothing but a bunch of thieves. I went into spinners on a sunday afternoon for lunch. The place was pretty empty. The sign said seat yourself. I sat there about five minutes before we were approached. The girl asked what we wanted to drink, I had to ask if we could have a menu. We sat there for about 10 minutes before the girl returned. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The food we ordered was pretty good, but the service was ridiculous. I finished my whole meal before my drink was refilled. Anyway, to put the icing on the cake, when we received the bill there were added charges. The menu clearly states "comes with choice of tots or fries." The sever charged us an extra dollar each for tots. I showed the server the menu and all she had to say was that she would let them know. Are you kidding me!! I really don't think it is even legal to just add extra charges above the menu price. I will definately never go back, but I promise I will let every one know how they steal!!…
Great Atmosphere. I go into Spinners Bar & Grill often and there is almost always a fun crowd there. Their food far surpassed my expectations and the large variety of beer on tap was great as well. Needless to say, I will go back again!…
