Becoming a fitter momma!. I've been going to Stroller Strides for the past 6 months. With an almost 3 year old, I needed to be a fitter momma! And I have become one! yea! With mommas at various levels, I wasn't embarrassed on how out of shape I was. And each week I got just a little bit better. The playdates after class and moms' night out have blessed me in getting to know some wonderful women and kiddos! My son loves to come! He's always asking if we are going to "workout class".

Stroller Strides saved me!. Post partum depression and I knew NO other mothers in town. I saw a SS brochure at my pediatrician's office and decided to give it a try. My first class was in the heat of the summer and it kicked my bootie! I thought we would be "striding" but NO! I came home dripping wet with sweat. I returned that same week and signed up for more! I had NEVER been an athletic person and I liked that SS allowed me to go at my own pace. I also did not want to drop off my 4 month old baby in the germy gym child care. Stroller Strides provided me (and continues to provide for me) accountability and support in health and motherhood. My children's close friends and mine are members of SS. We are a family that works and plays together.

Here I am 5 1/2 years later and another baby and SS is saving my life.

Oh! Did I mention I lost 35lbs.! And learned how to run and find my own degree of athleticism? Post partum blues? BYE! BYE!
