Stella Says Go was founded by two women with a common purpose: To buy and wear shoes that were as fashionable as they were comfortable, with prices that suited a variety of budgets. After meeting at the wedding of a mutual friend, co-owners Amy Filbin and Natalie Rickards were pleasantly surprised to find themselves re-united in Austin four years later. Having moved here from opposite coasts, neither could find an independently-owned shoe boutique in Central Austin, so they did the next best thing: They started their own. Today, Stella Says Go carries shoes for career women, party girls, and everyone in between.
"Comfort" and "attractive" are not
always friendly bedfellows in the shoe department, but somehow, Stella Says Go has found the brands that deliver both. Also, their website is incredible, functioning like a mini Zappos.
