Super delicious smoked hot wings! Definitely go on Sundays when they are only 50 cents. I'm not even a "wings girl" but they are really tangy spicy good! The jambalaya is great too if you're feeling Cajun. For my little "I only eat Mac and cheese" 5 year old, they serve up some of the best!

Great new BBQ in South Austin!. I recently visited Green Mesquite BBQ in Southpark Meadows for the first time. My first impression was how clean the restaurant was and how personable the staff was. Once our food came (the service was prompt, too), everyone was very pleased with their order. The sausage was flavorful and tender. There's a lot to choose from on the menu, so there's something for everyone. I don't live close, but I'm sure I'll be making a detour to visit again!

I can't wait for my next visit!. I visited Green Mesquite for the first time this past weekend and it smelled amazing from the moment I opened the door and walked in. The restaurant was so clean and inviting even from the outside. The staff was very friendly and we never had to ask for anything. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent! The meat was juicy and tender and flavorful. Food I saw delivered at nearby tables looked very tempting, too. I'm sure you can't go wrong with anything you order there. I can't wait to take my husband along on my next visit, because I know he'll be a fan, too!

Austin's BEST Barbeque.
I was thrilled to see the Green Mesquite BBQ open recently in South Park Meadows. This has become my favorite restaurant ever!
1. The food is excellent - try the chicken baker, mmmm
2. The staff is friendly and professional
3. The atmosphere is exciting and clean
You be the judge of this restaurant, I highly recommend it!!!

Awesome BBQ experience all around:). I am a regular at the Green Mesquite BBQ on Barton Springs, but was thrilled when I found this Southpark Meadow location on Citysearch!! Thank God, because this Bar-B-Que joint is not only right by my house, but the FOOD and SERVICE are just as good or BETTER than the Barton Springs location!! We came in late with 4 kids under 7 years old and 5 adults. The waitress was AMAZING! Our kids were so wild and she (who I think is a Kindergarten Teacher) was so patient and fun! The food came out super quick and tasted UNBELIEVABLE! The meat was falling off the bone! I love BBQ and for the price you will not find a better BBQ place here in Austin. Seriously it is worth a 200 mile drive to taste this BBQ and get this kind of service:)
