Tips for John Ramseier John's Gym

Great workout and a great time!!!. John's Gym has been a fantastic place to work out...their trainers are some of the best in Austin with years of experience in their individual disciplines and the atmosphere is very laid back and non-judgemental. They will push you to your limits in whatever class you choose, but do it in a very supportive, motivating way. I have had many years of martial arts training, but haven't worked out in quite a few years due to a back injury. The folks at John's (particularly John, Carrey, and Domingo) always keep me motivated to keep doing a little more, a little harder...but don't judge me due to the limitations my injury has put on me.

Great place...with great people!!!

Good Place for Cardio. Sometimes you just want to hit something after a hard day of work and there are many heavy-bag classes available to fit anyone's schedule. Very friendly staff and everyone can find their program despite skill level or endurance.

Awsome gym. Great place for personal training, martial arts or boxing instruction, or cardio fitness classes.

My last MMA gym closed down and I was looking for a good, affordable place to continue my training. I went in to Johns Gym because it is in the perfect location, right across HEB on 620 near Cedar Park. I spoke with John for a while, looked around the gym (they have a half cage, boxing ring, several heavy and speed bags, weights and cardio equipment) and it looked great. I went to a jiu-jitsu with John and was very impressed with the training. He does a great job of explaining and showing the technique. I also like the fact that this is a family friendly place. You won't see people getting into fights, everybody is very respectful. I recommend giving it a try.
