Fantastic New Music Venue for Austin. ACL is an Austin institution.

With the opening of the new venue at Moody Theatre on 2nd St, ACL takes itself and Austin to a new high.

An awesome lineup of great music at still affordable prices is already available.

Music Lovers Lose Again !!. It didn't take long for the ticket brokers to get their hooks into this new venue. TicketFly admitted a "GLITCH" in the Jackson Browne show ticket release. Tickets which were to go on sale at 10:00 AM weren't actually released to the public until 10:15 or so, long enough for the insiders to scoop up all of the preferential seating. After repeated calls to ACL's Michael Toland, and to Moody Theater's Kaola Thurman (Ticketing Manager), I have yet receive a single call or response to my situation. This is not concert promotion... it is promotion of avarice and greed. An aquaintance of mine who works for TicketCity said "Don"t worry!...we've got lots of great tickets!!" I'll bet they do!!!! A buncha Goddamn crooks !!! It looks like I will never see the inside of this beautiful venue, because I simply refuse to contribute to their sickening greed. I'm pissed.
