This restaurant is awesome! We contracted them to host our daughter's rehearsal dinner which was April 27, 2012. They made the evening one we'll never forget. First of all, they were very flexible in dealing with us. They tailored a delicious, creative, and affordable menu that all of our 30 guests thoroughly enjoyed. The staff was fantastic and catered to our every need with a smile. The owner and his wife's one desire was to make this night memorable in every way. They did just that! We'd do it all over again in a flash!

Great Decor, Good Food. A convenient and consistent lunch or dinner spot downtown. Tori Kera Don and Beet Tataki are menu high-points.

Best Japanese Food in Austin!. I went to Lavaca Teppan just the other day and had an AMAZING dinner! The food is so fresh and all of their dishes are changeable so you can get exactly what you want. The restaurant itself is beautiful and with great food to go with it, who wouldn't want to come here?
