Lost appointment, then told he didn't NEED my business.
Had an appointment today, called to let them know I was running about 5 minutes late due to the rain and an accident on 620. They showed no appointment for me. I had booked two separate appointments about 5 days earlier (one today and one for next week)! I drove 20 miles and this guy, Steve, tells me he has no appointment for me. So I tell him I had booked several days ago and have driven pretty far from my house...can he squeeze me in. "Well, I don't have a technician here today.." I am pissed by now, and ask "why not??". He tells me,
"Well, we book about 30 appointments a week so things happen". I replied "Then you obviously need a better system of keeping track of these appointments."
To which STEVE in all his customer service GLORY replies "I don't appreciate your tone and one tan isn't gonna make or break me, and I don't need your business"
Well, Steve, hopefully you lose more than one tan as a result of this exchange. I called another tanning center that day and they were able to see me. And I will make sure that as many people as possible know how awful my experience with Sunlounge Lakeway was. Good luck Steve!

I tried booking a teeth whitening appointment, called 4 separate times, nobody would return my call. The 5th phone call I finally got an appointment. The "manager" Steve called to confirm my appointment 3 separate times (guess he couldn't remember which location). The day of my appointment (an hour before) he calls to say "We double booked you, sorry there's nothing I can do, here's the number for you to book your appointment again" After traveling 60 miles for this appointment and taking off work he was very uncaring as to my situation telling me he is the manager and there is just nothing he could do. After calling the location to book my own appointment nobody would answer nor return my call. I then called him back to which he ignored my phone call and never returned my phone call. I finally got a hold of the receptionist who was apathetic and instantly made my appointment. Steve then had the gall to TEXT me, yes the manager of a business texting a client, to say "When you come to have your teeth whitened I will let you tan/Mystic tan for free if you want." really? Grow a pair and own up to your mistake! I then go to my appointment and he never apologized ONCE! He then leaves the salon during my appointment and let's the receptionist "check on me" Very frustrating since I had a question towards the end of my appointment, to which she could not confidently answer. This was the worst experience I have ever had regarding customer service. Maybe their poor service was the reason they were trying to gain business through Groupon.
This tanning salon is like no other....AMAZING!.
Once you walk in you know you are not in your typical tanning salon. Professional staff members greet you and get you in your favorite tanning bed, mystic tan booth, or with you airbrush tech asap. The place is more like a spa. Very quiet, zen, and clean. The beds work great. Only 12 minuties and you are out the door. Free bottled water.
They also have fantastic massage therapist on call and a new machine called ZERONA laser. it is a non invasive laser body contouring machine that shrinks fat. NO downtime, no pain. Pricinng is hard to beat on all of their services. Highly recommended.
