Austin's (literal) underground jazz club: The Elephant Room is the best local venue for jazz seven days a week, and we are NOT talking about smooth jazz. Even when they don't book bands, their open mic night-esque stage policy brings talented local musicians to the stage.

Romantic & Cool Spot in Downtown. Underground lounge with incredible jazz. My hubby & I always try to make a stop in for alittle candlelite jazz... when we are out for the evening in downtown Austin. Love it!!
