Blackmon Mooring Fire & Water Damage

Made a Really Bad Situation Worse. I had a fire at my home with a lot of soot damage. The insurance company recommended Blackmon Mooring for cleaning the items so I signed up with them. They packed almost everything out and cleaned and stored it while repairs were made to my home. Then when things started to be delivered, I found out what a horrible company they were. They lost my piano. They lost all the drawers of my antique desk. They lost shelves from a storage cabinet and from a wall unit. They lost a few boxes. They didn't inventory all the boxes, so there might be boxes missing that weren't even on the inventory. They carefully took pictures of all the things that went into the boxes and, you guessed it, they lost the pictures. They don't respond to my emails.. Use at your own risk, or better yet, don't. I would have given them a rating of zero stars except the things they did clean were clean.

Awesome Service. I found Blackmon Mooring employees to be quite competent and helpful. They were quite concerned about my emotional well being after I had a water problem at my house. They arrived in about 30 minutes, had all the equipment necessary to do the job properly, and were able to save my carpets and wood floors. After three days when everything was dry, they tacked the carpet back in place, cleaned it, and put everything back to the way it was. I am very grateful for their time and expertise.

Made a Really Bad Situation Better. I had a fire at my home as a result of a grease fire. Several companies came to me to offer their service. I was real confused on who to use so I called my Insurance company and they recommended Blackmon Mooring. Blackmon Mooring was extremely understanding of the traumatic situation I was going through, and took great care and concern in restoring my home and belongings. They worked in tandem with my Insurance company to make things as easy for me as possible. While the situation was not ideal and I hope I never have to use them again, if I (again) or anyone I know had the same situation I would recommend Blackmon Mooring for a job very well done.

Great Customer Service. We had a severe water loss to our entire bottom floor of our residence in the middle of the night. We called Blackmon Mooring at 2am and they had a project manager and crew on site within 1 hour! The project manager and crew went right to work. The communication between the PM and crew was outstanding. The manager and crew was very experienced which set my husband and I at ease. We didn't have to worry if they knew what they were doing as you could tell within minutes.

The next morning I phoned my insurance company and they informed me that Blackmon Mooring was who they recommended. The adjuster and project manager met at my home to come up with a comprehensive plan which was completed within days.

At the end of my job we received a dry down form and certificate showing it was dried down properly. I can't say how much I appreciate the outstanding service we received. We know we made the right choice!! Thank you Blackmon Mooring!!!!!

A bunch of clowns. I had a water damage in my bedroom.Blackmon Mooring sent a crew to do it.They were laughing during the whole process.Which it wasn't a laughing matter.They got the wet pad up.And didn't even spray for the smell.So my wife and I had to smell stinky filthy carpet for 3 days.They then sent a crew to relay the carpet.And they told me how incompetent the first crew was.And I just wanted them out my house.I tore the carpet out myself.I talked to their supervisor who was a studdering moron.Who doesn't know his elbows from his asshole.And he wasn't much help at all.Please do not use Blackmon Mooring.They belong in a circus.

Water in my living room. The pipe under my kitchen sink busted and got water everywhere in my living room and kitchen and dining room. they were good to clean up the water and make it dry. nice people.

Great Job after Traumatic Experience. When I had a fire a month ago, a service representative with Blackmon Mooring approached me to offer their services in securing my home, and working with my insurance company to get me back to "pre-loss" condition. He was a very nice man, and he told me they do more fires than anyone in Central Texas. I was a little concerned that I would be just a number, but he assured me that they provide a personalized service. Many of my household items have been passed down several generations and hold a great deal of value to me. Blackmon Mooring took great care in the handling and cleaning of all of these items as well as the structure of my home. I am happy to say that I made a very good decision at a time when i really did not know what to do. Thank you employees of Blackmon Mooring.

Great Care. Blackmon Mooring came to my house after a washing machine hose busted. It ran for about an hour while I was in my garage, and caused extensive damage. BMS came out right away and got my home dried out in a couple of days and ready for rebuild. They were there for me in a time of real need!

Amazing Job-- Air Duct Cleaning. Blackmon Mooring did an air duct cleaning for me, My house hasnt been cleaned in the 15 yrs i lived here, so i thought i'd give it a shot.

So when i called, and set an appointment. The "cleaner", Andrew. Did one hell of an amazing job. Before i was dusting almost everyday. I am so impressed. I recommend them. :)

Wonderful Job!!!. My experience with Blackmon Mooring was excellent. They had a Project Manager at my house within an hour of calling them after a line running to my upstairs toilet failed causing water to run all through the walls, ceilings, and downstairs. Their crews were professional and courteous. They worked in tandem with my insurance company to make me at ease while going through this traumatic experience. The insurance company paid their bill directly as it was the "industry standard" per the insurance Adjuster. I would definitely use Blackmon Mooring again, although I hope under better circumstance!!
