I'll be honest with you -- for the longest time, ATown's bubble-print, orange and green sign threw me off. So I didn't go in, because I assumed it was either a scooter shop or a "Keep Austin Weird"-style souvenir store. Friends, it's neither of those: Inside is the sweetest collection of reasonably-priced clothing and jewelry you ever did see, most of it locally-made. It's become my new #1 stop for gifts and quirky cards, and I've gotten several dresses there that consistently fetch compliments. If you haven't been yet, you're in for a nice surprise.
