Best Chocolate around.. Chocosutra may have the best treats anywhere in Austin, from chocolate bon bons, Choco-lixers!!, herbal teas, chocoguac!!, and other sweet and savory meal options, there's definitely something everyone can enjoy. I love the bon bons, they are so rich and creamy, and instantly put me in a good mood! Sunday's are especially nice at the Jesse Street Eats food park, Chocosutra has a wonderful brunch menu which includes sweet and savory items, with fresh items sourced from the local farmers markets!!! and they change it up regularly so it's a good idea to go each week and see what they have!!! love that place!

Chocolate for the Heart and Soul. Where do I even begin? Having been a chocolate lover my entire life, I appreciate those who share the same love and passion for this sacred food. Finding high quality chocolate around Austin has been a bit of a challenge for me until Chocosutra sprouted up a few months ago. Now I hardly go a day without stopping by the beautiful peacock blue trailer for my chocolate fix! What I love about Chocosutra is that they use medicinal herbs, superfoods, essential oils and local honey in their various chocolate concoctions. Not only that, but Richard and Snoopy are incredibly knowledgeable about the health benefits of each ingredient they use and are always happy to explain them to me :)

So what would I recommend? Well, you really can't go wrong with anything you choose! Each item is thoughtfully crafted to delight you in a specific way. I often order the Inner Nurturer, a chocolixer (chocolate drink) that contains cacao, lavender oil, chaga and colostrum. One sip and I feel all snuggly inside! The Inner Warrior is awesome too. This one is powerful... it gives me a surge of strength and productive energy that makes me want to go run a marathon or something, ha! Oh and I can't forget the raw chocolate bonbons! All of the flavors are lovely...I often get one of each :)

Whether you are in the barton springs area or further out, it is definitely worth it for you to make a trip out to Chocosutra. This is what Austin has been waiting for...chocolate that is good for the heart and the soul!
