The White Horse

When Hole in the Wall's Denis O’Donnell left to start up his own bar last Fall, I watched with curious anticipation. Where would it be? What would it look like? And then, like a beautiful Christmas present (my definition of "beautiful" contains a pool table, 70s wood paneling, and ever-so-lovingly stained floors) Denis gave us The White Horse in December, the country cousin of his old rock n' roll stomping grounds. Love music here ranges from Delta blues to bluegrass, with a steady jukebox playing at all times. And man, what is it with Austinites and two-stepping these days? It this describes you, The White Horse hosts two-stepping nights each Thursday and Friday.
