Housed in the old Hog Island Deli building, Cherry Street is Peche's sexy Italian sister. There's a lot to love here, particularly since Cherry Street pushes our expectations of Italian eating beyond the staid spaghetti and meatballs / marina sauce / pizza territory: think roasted marrow bones with flatbread or a demure chicken heart atop your salad. Chef Jason Dodge's culinary street cred comes from Peche as well as Enoteca Vespaio, and given that Rob Pate (owner of Peche) helped Dodge open it, you can bet the bar menu is just as thoughtfully executed. Try the Fall-appropriate All' Amore, made with cognac, dry sherry, Ramazotti liqueur, Curacao, and Angostura orange bitters.
