We found a diamond in the rough at Austin Bridal !!. This review is for Austin Bridal off of N. Lamar. After several disappointing appointments at numerous bridal shops in Austin, we literally stumbled upon this diamond in the rough. If you're looking for a beautiful, stylish wedding gown at a reasonable price and customer service that makes you feel like the only bride in the world, then this is the place! If you must shop at a fancy high priced, high end salon, then this is not the place for you. But, if you're on a tight budget and want a beautiful wedding gown that compares to the high end salons, then your search is over! This is a family owned business and they take care of their customers with a personal touch. Ms. Ann is the kindest, sweetest woman. She is the tailor/seamstress and nothing is impossible for her! Diane was our consultant and has the patience of a Saint! Both of these ladies are so kind and so down to earth. There were hundreds of dresses in the store and an incredible selection of dresses in my size which is a 14/16 (probably 30 or so to choose from in my size alone) and every one of them was SO reasonably priced. There is really something for every budget and every personal style. The other salons we had appointments with had just a couple of dresses in my size and the prices were outrageous and the alterations cost half as much as the dress! Austin Bridal offered us a 50% discount on alterations! I can't speak highly enough of this business and the two remarkable women we had the pleasure of working with. We felt like we were a part of their family when we left. Thank you Ms. Ann and Diane!
