a smelly dive. I went into Quofers on a Thursday night in July. The very first thing I noticed was the smell as soon as I opened the door. It smelled of old stale beer and cigarettes. There was a group of about 5 people at the "bar" at the back who all stopped talking and stared at me as if i had just walked into their Mom's funeral naked. Obviously locals who live there. The place is incredibaly small and narrow - about 12-14 feet wide. Waked to the back - used the restroom (nasty) and left. If you like small, smelly places and want to fel like an outsider, by all means go there.

Good Times!. If any one is from Elgin Texas then you know of Quoffers Pub.

I noticed Quoffers one day as I drove through the one stop light in town and saw a sign for Live music. I went in one night and had a blast! I don't want to say I go there a lot because then I sound like an alcoholic, but I love going there often!

You are surrounded by down to Earth people and the atmosphere is enjoyable. The bartenders are friendly and the waitresses are very pleasant.

They have live music one night, Teachers have their own day and they even have a Karaoke night! So if you think you can sing come on in!

Any way, they are great and if you are ever in Elgin and want to find a place to have some fun Quoffers Pub is the place to be!!
