Austin >Food & Dining > Panda Express
Hummmmm. Recently I have seen the portion sizes shrink noticably. It also looks that lately the customers have been off some as you look at the food under the lights that look s like it has been there a little toooo long for my comfort. If you do not mind waiting ten minutes, ask for something they are out of and they will cook it up fresh for you. The place is always clean when I have visited, the prices are a little steep for what you get, you gotta admit, a couple of bucks for an egg roll is a bit much. Overall, if you order your food so it is made fresh, other than being on the oily side I enjoy the taste and flavors their menu has to offer. I would recommend to staff to not continue to mix new rice with old, I do not like biting into an old hard piece of rice like biting into a pebble that should never have been served. This Panda location has room for improvement but overall nothing to make me stay away for long periods of time.
