The size of the salon and its decor create a wonderful, warm ambience. The stylists give clients the kind of personal attention that stores like Neimann Marcus gave their customers forty years ago. I have known Kim Bacon, Kirsten and Steve for about ten years and Kim Turney for a few less years. They genuinely like each other, which minimizes stress so the salon experience is much more enjoyable. Each stylist is gifted and can handle a wide variety of hair types. That's a particular blessing when members of a family refer to their hair as the family curse.
- Pros: skilled, friendly, committed professionals
- Cons: I can't afford to have Kim Bacon style my hair everyday

Lovely Lather Salon

Lather has curb appeal and an urban upbeat energy. I love the design of the space and thoroughly enjoyed my first salon experience with Kim Bacon. She is professional, warm and made me feel right at home. Kim gave me exactly what I asked for in my color and cut. I now have someone I can both trust and enjoy seeing!

Kim Turney is the best in Austin!

Lots of great garage parking, friendly , happy staff. And thats just the icing on top of getting a great haricut, color and style from Kim. She has done my hair forever and always will. She truly cares and listens to her clients. Its so nice to go to a salon that you know really wants you to be happy with their services and its not just all hype and egos!!
