buyer beware. Wanted new tile in walk in Shower. Initial salesperson was very friendly. Owner came to house and gave me a quote and I accepted it. It took several weeks for them to get the tile in. The gentleman who came to install the tile did not speak english so it was very hard to communicate with him. He put fiberglass on floor of the shower and up the sides about 4 inches. The odor was so bad we had to rent a hotel for a night which cost about $90.00. When he was done the shower looked great. We hired another contractor to put in a shower door for us about 2 weeks after the shower was done. We wanted to make sure everything was dry before putting a new door on. About 10 days later we noticed the tile seperating just above one of the hinges. We called the door people and they said the tile wasn't done correctly. I called Floor and Design and they told me that it was the door guys fault. I had both contractors come to my house and it was decided that the tile was done wrong. The owner of Floor and design said he would fix the problem. About 8 days later his worker showed up and tore out the old tile, but couldn't fix it because the store hadn't given him the right color tile - at least that's what I think he said. So, bottom line I can't use my shower and if it is ever fixed I have to pay the door guys a fee to re-install the door. I havent' heard from the owner of Floor and Design even though I've tried calling him several times. I paid way too much for a bad tile job. Buyer Beware, go somewhere else. I think the owner's friends have put up the positive reviews.

Floor & Design. It seems like this place is used for slave trafficking. I would not spend my money there for fear of an audit.

Interesting reviews on Citysearch. It amazes me that so many Citysearch reviews have been written in such a short time for this business. Also amazing is how many of these reviews have similar phrasings and examples of poor English. And the streak of 5 star ratings, wow, it just doesn't seem possible does it? This store seems to be exceedingly popular among non-native English speakers over the past 6 months!

P.S. the Better Business Bureau rates this business as an F. BBB need to accept quality and beautiful showroom of this wonderful place I will recommends to my families and heartfelt wife.

Fast installation, Quality floor. The store has a large selection of hardwood. There are a number of sale items in many different styles which are great deals. They came to my house to install the floor next day after I put deposit. It’s pretty good. I like this service. The installers cut the wood outside to limit mess inside the house and they cleaned up after they done. One year later the floor still looks great. Really worth more than what you paid!

Good Work, Great Customer service (return customer). I’ve bought from them 3 times. They were the lowest price on both jobs and I’m very happy with the work they did. Sales man Eric took care of us every time. The bid comes in very clear. I’ve got no complaints and would use them again.

Not good customer service. When we went in and told the manager we were selling the house and wanted carpet and tile to make it look better but as cheap as possible he was very helpful.After looking around we went back and talked to Zenna.She was very nice but once we encountered a problem she turned on us very quickly.The installation was very good but the contractor failed to tell us about a small leak at the toilet.They over tightened the valve and during the night(house was vacant) it burst and flooded part of the house.Luckily the old carpet was there but we were concerned about drying it out.Zenna came and did not want to take any responsibility for it.In fact she was nothing like the person we meet prior to signing the contract.We then had the owner of the company come out and he agreed to pay for fans to dry it out for 24 hours.We told her we would unlock the house in the morning for them to come finish but they did not show up.Supposedly they came and no one was there.We did not receive a call until the second day they went out and again they left instead of checking the door.She failed to communicate with her contractors and we lost two days.She also failed to confirm with us when someone would be there after we discussed with her no one was living there.You get what you pay for.The tile looks great.Carpet is okay.Customer service makes me not want to use them.I'd rather pay more and be treated like they want my business even after I sign a contract.Maybe a different location would be better if the management is different.

recommended by friend, will go to check tomorrow. I went to my friend’s house yesterday. This is my first time visit him since he bought the new house half a year ago. The floor caught my eyes once I enter his house. The floors were so beautiful. I was plan to redecorating my living room. So he recommended Floor & Design to me. I will go to the store tomorrow. I hope they are as good as my friend told me.

high quality. According to the reviews on Floor & Design, I felt Floor & Design sell what I want. They have high quality but not expensive. That’s what I need. So I bought Laminate floor and a carpet from them. Since that time, we always receive compliments on the floor. All of my friends said that my room is classic. We wouldn’t shop anywhere else. We have always been impressed with the quality and vast selection of their floor. Thanks!

Fast install. The reason I came here is to thanks for all the staffs who worked for Floor & Design. Good job! So fast delivery and so fast install. They came to my house the next day once got my pay. I do will buy from them again!

Thanks for so many useful information. I want to buy some laminate flooring. So I searched best floor store in Austin online. I found this store and so many reviews. From these reviews, I know this is a professional store with good price. So I decide to go to the store tomorrow. Hope it’s really as good as they said. Thanks for all person who leave so much information.
