Nice and pleasant stay. The owner was very nice to drop us off at the train station and airport because of the taxis who were not available during SXSW. Rooms are large and neat, wifi is working great.

Went to Austin for the annual Tough Mudder race and luckily found this place. The rate was perfect, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm staying here anytime I'm in Austin.

They provide a simple breakfast, and it's not European(warm protein, not only carbs), along with a happy hour that is complimentary, this place might work for you too.

The Suite I had was fantastic. I have stayed at 4 star hotels but Orangewood Suites was far superior to several of them. I will highly recommend Orangewood Suites to all of my business associates and friends. The front desk attendent was very friendly and professional. She even called my room and personally invited me to the evening snack and the hot morning breakfast. Made me feel first class.

The rooms were very clean and kept that way by your housekeeping staff. Good breakfast each morning of our five day stay with you. I would stay at your hotel again if we return to Austin, Tx.

We stayed at Orangewood Suites for 2 nights, both nights were quite and relaxing. Everything was neat and comfortable, room was stocked with all cooking ware, plates, silverware. Maid service was exceptional and timely.

When I read many of the negative reviews about this property, I must admit I was nervous about booking a stay here, but I took into consideration the positive reviews which outnumber the bad. I am glad I did as I just spent three wonderful days in a delightful getaway. Orangewood Suites is a cluster of apartment style suites, each with it's own stocked kitchen( Full size refrigerator, stove and dishwasher) along with dishes, glassware, pots and pans. Great way to cut down on eating out food costs during your stay. There was a microwave and small two cup coffee maker with coffee supplied daily, as well as a nice selection of regular and herbal teas. The suite was huge, over 400 square feet with a living room area, patio, king size bed ( I loved the comfort of it), as well as a separate vanity area off the shower and tub. Bath towels were fluffy and plentiful and the bath amenities were spa like and quite nice. There is even a fireplace, but I neglected to ask if it usable. A wide screen 42 inch flat tv added to my enjoyment. Housekeeping did an excellent job in preparing my suite and the furnishings, while older, were clean and well maintained. Free wireless and a laundry on site are added pluses. The decor was also very nice. In the morning, guests enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, with a hot entree as well as cold cereals, bagels, fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice. In the evening, a complimentary light buffet is offered. The nights I was there featured a tasty pasta dish and tossed salad and the other night a taco bar. Complimentary beer, wine, ice tea and soft drinks are offered in the evening. The front desk staff were extremely kind and helpful. And, the nights I stayed were priced extremely reasonable and well below a comparable lodging facility. Now, for the negative things people have said about Orangewood Suites. After communicating with the manager and telling her how much I was enjoying my stay, she informed me that previous management had allowed the hotel to slip below acceptable standards and many items were neglected. Rest assured, the current management team has taken care of all this and as a former innkeeper, I can say you will only find positive things to say about your stay, unless of course, you happen to be one of those people who can't seem to find anything positive to say and choose to focus on the negative. Try as I might to maintain my bed and breakfast to the highest of standards, there was always someone who managed to find lint on their pillowcase, lol. I hope you enjoy staying here as much as I did.
