Excellent choice.
Orangewood Suites was an excellent choice since I wanted more than a motel or hotel room. I stayed one night, but it would be fine for an extended stay.
The suite had a front closet with ironing board and iron. A small but full kitchen with stove, oven & microwave. Refrigerator, freezer with ice maker. Pantry closet. Even a cutting board + knives and dining utensils. Dining place for 2. Cups and plates and glasses for 2 people. Coffee maker with coffee and tea selection.
The main room had a sliding divider so you can have guests and still have access to you own area for someone to sleep or change clothes, etc. The front living room with desk and nice executive chair, sofa with coffee table and a TV that swings around to view from bed. Large double sliding closet for clothes with full length mirror. King size bed with nice covers. Bathroom area had 7' vanity and mirrors, dresser drawers + 1500w blow dryer, medicine cabinet, adjoining comfort room with shower & tub. Towels were good quality and they even had wash cloths. Nice orange scented soap! Lots of lights and some dimmers to make it easy on the eyes. + small patio with 2 chairs.
Excellent central climate control + the WiFi was good for my iPad.
Everything worked except the small radio/alarm. I always set back-up so not a problem for me. The pool is small (and out of season) so go elsewhere if you need a real swim. Outside you can hear the freeway (it is about 150 yards away) but inside the room it was quiet.…
bed was very comfortable.. Went to Texas for vocation stayed here at Orangewood and the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The service was excellent and the value was incredible. I recently took my family to Austin for a week-long conference and needed a family-friendly hotel. Orangewood was more than I could have hoped for. The service was excellent and the value was incredible. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. Moreover, they took time to get to know us; we felt like we were staying with family. The hot breakfast was a great way to start the day.…

The hotel is very nice. The hotel is very nice, and the rooms are some of the best I've seen. Decent furniture, spacious room and an accordion door that separates the living room/kitchen from the bedroom.
