Awful Experience that continues to drag
on. - MUST READ THROUGH THE END.
I was visiting home and needed my hair color fixed. Went into Breeze, and my hair stylist swore she could give me the color I wanted. I wouldnt be as blonde but we would keep heavy blonde in the front and on the bottom ... an Ombre Look. Other stylists raved about her color abilities. They even went as far as to ask me to write to Texas to fight against the new bill that would allow for unlicensed Stylists telling me that after she wowed me with the color I would be convinced I should help fight for them. WRONG. I even gave her the chance to say "no, we cant do that" and just dye my hair brown, but she confidently assured me it could be done, and she would do it.
Not only did she waste 4 hours of my vacation while my sister waited sick in the car, but we had to re-do the color and it ended up taking so long I finally had to leave without a blow dry. Oh yea, and my hair was brown. I sat there for 4 HOURS for her to dye my hair brown. NOTHING CLOSE TO WHAT I ASKED FOR.
I paid, as I convinced myself that when it dried it would be lighter, and maybe I was over reacting, and I hate over reacting and feeling like an idiot. But then after being told by everyone that it was WAY off and ridiculous that she wasted my time I finally decided I deserved a refund.
When I reached out to ask for a refund, as "Salons" (especially licensed ones) are expected to refund when they do not deliver what they promise. (I have been going to salons all over the nation for years and have never had to say more than - Im sorry but this isnt close to what I asked for) it took a negative review to even get a response, and the response was "we will look into it" & please come in so we can fix it. At that point I was slightly shocked as I had already explained multiple times I was on vacation and had left town, and that I could not have it fixed as my hair was fried. So I told them ... again... I wanted a refund.
I paid $250 AFTER a $20 coupon to sit there for 4 hours and have my hair dyed brown. They sent me a check for $109 thinking that it would suffice. Sure, keep the tip, I wouldnt expect her to not get paid at all, but would of never written this review had they dealt with the situation properly. But its BEYOND bad hair, its Bad Hair, Poor Customer Service and Poor Business Practices.
There is a true lack of respect for customers, their time, money and obviously do not care whether we leave satisfied or not.
Don't go here for an updo or anything else.... I'm getting married in June and went in March to get a trial updo. I had a bad impression as soon as I walked in. While I was waiting for my stylist, they asked every person checking out what products they were recommended. Each person was pushed into purchasing their expensive products. When it was my turn, my stylist started off by telling me I hadn't washed my hair in a few days. In fact, I had washed my hair about 2 hours before! She then told me it must be all the product residue on my hair, and I needed a special shampoo to get it all out (again trying to sell a product). She seemed flustered with me because I wasn't sure how I wanted my hair. After she got my hair styled, It looked really nice. She then tried to attach my hair piece for the wedding. It was a disaster. She was extremely rough with this thing that I have been keeping in a special box for a year. She also decided to but bobby pins through the tulle because she didn't know how to get it to stay on my head. Over all I liked the way it looked, but then she started taking it down. I told her to leave it in because I wanted to show my MOH. The worst part was when we checked out! The bill came out to $65 for a trial updo! (online it says they charge $45+ for everything, so they end up charging whatever they want) Also it wasn't 5 min. since I had left and my hair was falling down. It didn't even make it 30 min. How would it make it all day for my wedding? I ended up cancelling my wedding day appointment and am currently looking for a different salon. I just got a bad vibe from this place. They could have had the business of my entire wedding party, but they didn't even try to make a good impression. I was so disappointed. This salon is way too pricy, the stylists are rude, and they just don't do a good job. (ps another stylist came over during my appointment to tell me I had a baby face, and that she thought I was going to a school dance, but then she realized I was getting married. Really? I know I look young, but was it necessary for you to leave your client to come tell me that?)
Breeze salon Georgetown. Today was my first time to the Breeze Salon in Georgetown, and it was a great experience. From the very welcoming ladies at the front to Chris, my stylist, everyone was helpful, professional and I walked away with a great style. Chris really listened to what I wanted, but put his own knowledge and sense of style into the cut. I would definitely recommend Breeze salon.
The best salon experience in cedar park!.
Breeze is an amazing salon, the staff and environment are extraordinary. My stylist Denise has been coloring and cutting my hair for two years now, and I would never go anywhere else. People stop me and ask me where I get my hair done, the color is always so vibrant and shiny. The scalp massages are so awesome and relaxing.
The staff is so friendly, they always offer coffee or tea, or a glass of wine. It is so difficult to find a great salon, this place is a gem. I would highly recommend Breeze to anyone, for the ultimate salon experience.
Beware, This Salon Does Not Stand Behind Their Work.
Wow, I have never had to write a review before, but I feel I should warn others about this salon. Without getting into all the details, I went in for a simple highlight and cut. My brown hair was turned yellow orange and was majorly over-processed. The stylist Tim would not admit any mistake, He insulted me, my hair color to begin with and was totally unprofessional. After many calls and trips back in to have other stylists look at my hair, it was reluctantly admitted that it was way overprocessed and that I should not use any heat implements on my hair for risk of further damage....no hair dryer, no curling iron etc. (how was I supposed to style my hair every day?). I tried to get in touch with the owner and the manager of the salon and neither returned my call. In fairness the woman who answered the phone was very nice, as were some of the other stylists who looked at my damage. But no resolution was attempted by management. I now have to buy expensive repair products, live with crap hair for what looks to be many months and go somewhere else to get my hair cut super short to minimize the damage.
Again, I have never written a review for anything in my life, but I warn everyone to stay away from this salon, they will not stand behind their work..... so buyer beware!
I FOUND LAURA HARKNESS!!!!!!!.
I have never dealt with a more unprofessional salon in my life. This salon is a perfect example of not caring one bit for the client. I'm sure all of you know what it's like to finally find "your stylist" Well I found her in Laura and now she is no longer at this salon and I don't blame her one bit. She is the only reason I even came here..
I found her on Facebook!!
So glad we found you!.
After relocating to the Cedar Park, Leander area, I dreaded finding a hairdresser and salon to provide services. I was lucky enough to find BREEZE while going to the movie. When I saw AVEDA I knew it had to be good. I just walked in one day and a delightful young lady gave me a tour and I was hooked. My husband went first and had a haircut with Julie, loved her so when it was my time, I went to Julie as well. I do not have to look any further, she is fantastic!
Also went to Erin for bikini and brow wax, lash tint. She is fabulous! I have had my lashes tinted for years and I have never found anyone that is that thorough and detailed. I do not want to use anyone else, ever!
I have to say that sometimes you can find a great person in a not so great location but this location has it all. Convenient for us, everyone is so nice and the services are great and the prices are reasonable. I have paid so much more for services elsewhere and was not near as happy. Great place, so glad they are here!
Cute place, fun atmosphere, and Amanda...amazing!. I went in on a reccommendation from my neighbor to see Amanda to get my hair done. I wanted to go from pretty long to short for the upcoming spring. I was impressed with her creativity and professionalsm, by the time it was done, I was so excited and just over-all satisfied with the whole experience. It was that feeling like a new car excited... the way a day at the salon should be.
One stop shop for EVERYTHING!!. I just wanted to take a minute to express my appreciation for 2 people at this salon: a) Kelly is an awesome esthetician. She knows everything about skincare and is just a nice person to be around. She wants you to leave feeling beautiful and refreshed. b) Jessica is a fabulous masseuse. She works out all the knots without torturing you and is also just an all-around amiable person. I never feel like she is rushing me out the door to get to her next client, she always takes her time and does a great job. Both Kelly and Jessica remember you when you come in and are genuinely interested in your well-being, and I love that! Both of these women will always have me as a client - I am so glad I discovered them!
Ask for MARY, and be confident you will be impressed.
Mary M has cut my and my 9 year old sons hair. She gave me my most favorite cut I've ever had, not drumming it up for this review either. I had a guy that left another place, he was great, and there are always nerves with a new stylist, but be confident, she has got talent, and vision, and skilled execution. I could go on about my hair, but my sons hair...no lie, I admire it daily. She gave him the coolest, stylish rocker, shaggy, hip dude hair I have seen, he was a mess before and she tamed the beast, he loves it, and just when I thought he couldn't get cuter, Mary got a hold of his hair.
P.S. my neighbors all liked our hair so much after Mary they were asking about her to cut them too, and their kids.
She is sweet, and is really good at what she does.
