Best Home Town Cooking!!!!. Rubys has the best chicken fried steak. We had never tried Rubys because we usually go to the Mexican Restraunt in Jarrell. Now that Rubys has moved into Shiner Market we ordered to go. The food was awesome!!

Now I regret not trying it sooner when they had the cafe. they are very friendly, and we dont mind at all that they are in Shinner Market. I had just found out that they cater, and I know where we will be getting the catering from our next event.

Amazingly DElicious Homestyle Food.. We recently moved to Jarrell ad decided to finally stop by Ruby's Cafe. Like the person who posted before us, we didn't expect much when walking indie. It was homey and moderately decorated. But when we took our first bite, we were blown away!

I'm a Texan and like to judge an establishment on their Chicken Fried Steak. Ruby's has THE BEST Chicken Fried Steak I have EVER tasted!! Hands down. And it didn't stop there. The sides were equally mind blowing! Everything was cooked perfectly ad burst with flavor!

What solidified my experience was the dessert counter. We arrived late at night but I decided to try one of the walnut cinnamon rolls, that I'm sure were baked earlier that morning. Not expecting much, I bit in. It melted in my mouth. It was still absolutely scrumptious!

This place is amazing. If you live in Jarrell or are passing thru, do yourself a favor ad stop in for a meal. You will not regret it!

Worth the Drive!. I wasn't expecting a lot when we dropped into Ruby's Cafe in Jarrell, just wanted to try out the new place in town. BOY, were we surprised.

Best chicken fried steak I've had in 50 years or so of eating it. Everything else is wonderful, too - great home cooking (using the proprietor's grandmother's recipes). Ruby's also caters, and has a bakery (I haven't tried their baked offerings, afraid I'd be unable to resist eating way too many of them!).
