TOTAL SCAM! STOLE MY MONEY! – American Laser Skincare stole almost 3,000 dollars from me!
Never got any treatments after signing my contract, and now these women are giving me the run-around about getting a refund. While I am locked in making payments on a huge loan that they harassed me into signing, they have been refusing to even return my calls.
The local office at Tech Ridge told me that they didn't handle refunds, and to call the corporate office. The corporate office told me that the local office should have handled it.
It wasn't until I threatened to take them to court and call the local news about them that they got someone to contact me about getting the refund started.
Now all I have is an IOU from them that they have told me will take them -months- to honor.
If these women have done this to you, contact the company that took out the loan and open a dispute. Try to get them into small claims court. Contact your local news media.
They are a scam. All they want is your money and once they have it, whether they've given you a service or not, they are going to do everything they can to keep it.
Do your research! – I can say that the staff has always been nice, they're sales people that's their job. I honestly feel like I was ripped off & you can get better results for less. I also warned them I have sensitive skin & yet they still pushed the sale. I didn't know the side effects of the laser hair removal is dry skin. I stopped going 6 months ago & may go back to finish my under arms since that's the only area that didn't get the dry skin. My suggestion is to put the setting on the highest tolerable. It hurts like crazy. A combination of getting a tattoo & burned at the same time. No pain, no gain lol
I have gotten free microderm abrasion & photofacials. Out of the two I felt like the microderm made my face appear younger. The photofacials dried my skin, which helped make my acne breakouts slow down. A few months later the dark spots came back. In my opinion, I also think the photofacials made me loose some of the suppleness to my cheeks. Definitely prefer the microderm.
The more you say no to whatever deal Heidi is trying to sell , she will lower the cost. My deal was brazilian bikini, lower legs $ 3100 and get underarms, 3 photofacials& 5 microderms for free. Looking at Living social, groupon & the other like websites I very well could've easily paid less than half elsewhere.
Hope this has helped.
Very Pleased. – I love the staff here, they are all so friendly and helpful and go above and beyond to meet your needs! I am very pleased with my services thus far and excited to soon be hair free on my areas of choice. I really appreciate the package the manager worked out for me and doubt that I would have received the same package elsewhere for the price I paid. Thank you for taking care of me!
They are the WORST. – Do not do business with this company. I allowed them to come into my place of business to talk to our clients for FREE and to promote their services. BIG MISTAKE. They hassled our Clients for months and I got so many compliants. Then the fun really started when I myself called to inquire about their services. The manager Heidi ( an obese miserable woman) was so friendly at first saying that since our business was promoting theirs, they would give myself and any of my staff members 50% off any service. When I arrived for my appointment I looked up the "special rate" and it was the same that any person would get. I shouldve walked away then, but I still wanted the service and didnt see the point in arguing. So I paid full price after being lied to. Heidi was never friendly after that. You can call at any time of the day and they will never answer the phone. The wont even call you back. And try voicing a complaint to her, she will raise her voice and try and find reasons why YOU are at fault. May I suggest a new Manager ? She talks down to the staff in front of customers and snaps her fingers. If you're in the lobby and the phone rings, she sits right by there and lets it ring lol . Now what about the service itself ? Well I'll put it to you this way, they guarantee for 2 years after your 6 sessions. Well, im on my second year and the hair is still growing. They are total BS. Do not do business with them.
Run away! – All the other negative things said in previous reviews are all true, they never call you back, they never remind you on appoitments, in general the manager is rude (the techs are nice but are never the same)
Most importantly the service does not work. I and several friends all signed up for hair removal about the same time. None of us have seen any progress even after 8 appoitments - yet we all supposedly were the perfect coloring to have great results. Actually several of my friends had some treatments elsewhere several years ago and had seen good results - but they have had absolutely no results when going to American Laser.
Find some place reputable if you decide to have these types of services - American Laser is NOT a good choice unless you enjoy throwing your money to the wind.
IF you value your time, money and sanity GO ELSEWHERE – STAY AWAY! Once they get your $ they treat you horribly. The lady you speak with when you schedule your consultation seems nice at first... then she gets weird. Everything you say or talk about the EXACT same thing happened to her. She tries too hard to be your friend so u will sign up. The tech kept pressuring me to get more packages after I had just given them $2,300 less than ten min ago!!!! When the trt was done I set up my next appt. 8 weeks later (I don't know about you, but knowing my sch. 8 weeks down the road is a difficult) as the time grew near I had to re-schedule.. BIG MISTAKE! I called, and called, and called.. Left over 15 messages NEVER got a return call. FINALLY I drove from DEL VALLE all the way to their office to change my appt. in person. It was 3 weeks prior to my appointed time and they were "booked" all day, everyday for the next 6 (yes thats SIX) weeks. So if I moved my appt. I would be 3 weeks late for my treatment. Reluctantly kept my appt, at that time the front office lady (aka your "best friend") gave me her personal cell number and said if I EVER have to reach the office call her cell! OK ,great she seems to be helpful. WRONG!!! Two weeks ago I tried to call the office to re-schedule an appt. Left 20 messages at the office number, and 7 on her cell over a 2 weeks. Gave my name, 3 #'s I could be reached at and the best times to reach me at those #s, the reason I was calling and that if she could just move my appt. to ANY other time just leave me a message and that would be fine..I had 1 return call at my work # at MIDNIGHT!!! She claimed she couldn't understand what I needed!!! WTF. I talk on the phone all day everyday ITS MY JOB! I know I have great phone etiquette, speak slowly and clearly. So there is no way she didn't understand any of my 27 messages!! SHE A LIAR! I regret signing up with this place 110%!! I strongly encourage.. nay.. I beg and plead with you.. If you value your time, money.. and sanity GO ELSEWHERE!!!
I love this place!!!! – Since the first time I walked in the door and every time I go in for a treatment the staff here makes me feel very comfortable. I was never at any point pressured for anything, when I went in for my consultation all my questions were answered and explained in detail. This is not my first time to go to a place like this and hands down it is the best customer service I have received yet!! All the technicians are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, which makes me feel good about the establishment that I have invested in. Since going here I have recommended several friends who have gone in and have received the same hospitality from these great folks. I am so looking forward to the summer, and am very thankful for what they do at American laser center!!!
Editorial Review – Offers laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments which target pigmented lesions, spider veins and help to eliminate fine wrinkles.
Run – This place is AWFUL. I consider myself to be an extremely tolerant person. I tend to let a lot slide and I've actually never written a bad review before but, at some point, I have to draw the line and this place pushed me to it. First of all, the sales pressure is absurd. They basically won't let you out the door unless you buy a treatment package, all of which are very, very expensive. Sarah is probably the one you'll first talk to if you go to the one on 34th. Initially, she is very friendly but it seems she will say anything to sell you a package. After I bought one, I discovered how ridiculous the service is. Do they ever call me to remind me of my appointment despite the fact that you have to make them 6-8 weeks in advance? Nope. Do they ever call me back when I leave a message and ask them to? Nope. You would think for paying over a thousand + dollars you would at least get decent service. Nope. Some of the technicians are friendly, but a few of them always pressure you to buy another treatment package every single time you go in for a treatment. It's exhausting. The treatment itself is fair at best. They are not honest about this at the beginning. It's case by case. Laser works great on some people, while others aren't so pleased with their results. All of my hair didn't go away even though it was "guaranteed." The hair is definitely thinner, but a far cry from being completely gone. I suggest you go elsewhere and give your business to a company that deserves it.
