Rude, thieving MIS-Management. Darnel is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I was forced to pay for a birthday cake twice. I tried to explain that the cake had been paid for when the first birthday cake was picked up. He got in my face and said "What, you want me to call another manager?!?" I see by other reviews that they are obsessed with "shrinkage". My family of six spends well over a THOUSAND dollars in the Leander HED EVERY month. We will go our of our way to find ANY other store to buy from. I'd rather go to anybody but this store.

Obsessed with loss prevention. Within a 2-3 week period during the fall of 2009, I was falsely RUDELY approached and accused of not paying for $10 (LOL) worth of gas (I used my debit card and it cleared), asked to show a receipt after leaving the store (all I had was a pumpkin and a bday cake-yes I did pay) and had coupons held up to the light (the coupons that they printed from THEIR register) to see if it was a fake. I complained to the store manager about the gas incident and he did apologize sincerely. However the coupon and receipt issues came about just a couple weeks later and I simply had enough and will not shop their anymore. It's not like I look like some scumbag or something. I'm just a middle class soccer mom trying to get her groceries in peace. Obviously there must be some issues with theft. But that doesn't mean you have to turn into the soup nazi.
