small place but really good food.
It is small place with fairly simple decor; usually warmly greeted by the owner/manager himself. Fairly good variety in the menu, but the quality & taste of the food is great! You can really taste the extra goodies in their food, even in the basics like the rice and beans--they are consistently good & so yummy. The fish tacos are great. The grilled chicken is very good, the fajitas are good. Waitstaff is quick, helpful and kind. We have eaten there about half a dozen times and tried something different each time & it's all really been good. Now we've introduced this place to other family members & friends!
Yep, we'll be back!

My Favorite New Mexican Restaurant!. Amigos Grill is my new favorite mexican restaurant in Austin! Their pulled pork tacos are to die for! They slow cook their pork, shred it and serve it up with delicious freshly made corn tortillas. Also, their bistek with fresh avocado is amazing. If you happen to make it there on the weekends, you will be in for a real treat! On Friday and Saturday nights they have some sort of live entertainment for you to enjoy. If you haven't made it out to Amigos Grill & Patio, I would highly recommend that you try them as soon as you can. They will quickly become your new favorite Mexican dining spot!
