Let me get right to the point: The sushi at DK Sushi isn't really the point. Sure, it's fine. But the real draw is Thursday night karaoke, hosted by what may be a certifiably insane (and hilarious) individual, DK himself. Free sake bombs if you sit in the front, and more if you take the stage and sing. Along with a gong, Asian soft porn on overhead TVs, a disco ball and DK's Gallagher-like personality, it's an Austin rite of passage.

The fish is quality here. The tuna and escolar are especially solid. The Austin Roll is a winner. Seaweed salad is too.

If you haven't heard the word "PUSSY" 100 times in a night - check out DK on Mondays. He does admit to having a small penis though. ONLY 4 MORE shows to go at the South location.

Mexican roll and shrimp tempura roll were delish. The place is really small and the music was so loud it gave me a headache. I will go back again but ask for seats farthest from the speakers.
