Top Notch. Lambs is by far the only shop left that feels like service is not just a standard but a matter of pride. No pun intended! Sunday night found me with an ugly flat tire; by noon Monday, all was well, after they managed to squeeze me in over lunch. Yay for the speedy, kind and always accommodating service.

I had to buy a battery. I have been here several times, this time it was to buy a battery. The next day, a warning light was on pointing toward an alternator problem. I took the car in again and it did not need a new alternator. They repaired it and it didn't cost much at all. They could have gotten me for a new alternator, and they did not. It is this kind of honesty that keeps me as a loyal Lamb's customer.

Wasn't Pleased. Charged me for a full inspection when all I needed was to figure out why my car wasn't starting. I felt like I was being scammed.

this place is a scam!! Avoid it like your mother-in-law!. This place is a scam!! I took it in for a regular oil change and this guy puts in synthetic oil which I never asked for. But that's no big deal because next time I'll go somewhere else and just have them put in the regular oil. Here's the scam part: for "your convenience" they do a check up on your car.

Coincidentally they come back with a bunch of defects and showed it to me. They must think I'm ignorant or something because the defects are not even visible!! Not to mention I just had a huge check up a the dealer's for which I still have warranty; if the defects were genuine I would have to take back to the dealer under the warranty. I told the guy that but he dismissed the dealer's mechanic as an amateur whose license should be revoked!...Yeah right.

Then he points out how the dealer's mechanic missed the 'defective' tires on my car. Funny, neither the dealer's mechanic nor the guys at discount tires whom I bought 2 tires from and frequent alot over the years mentioned anything about defective tires. I guess their licenses should be revoked too!!

This place is just a scam. Beware people!!! Know your car and don't let them rip you off; they will play into your sense of insecurity and fear of having an unsafe car!!! Don't feel pressured.

If you really want a piece of mind, take your car to a different shop or dealer for a second opinion.

Lies lies lies. We recently bought 4 minivan tires with road hazard warranty through Lamb's thinking it would cover us if something happened to one of the tires...wrong. My wife had a gash in one of the tires so she took it to good ole Lambs where they told her "Everything will be fine! Ill bet you're glad you got the road hazard warranty?" The guy went on to tell her not to worry and everything will be taken care of. When I went to pick up the MINIVAN with stock rims (nothing special) the guy again said how fortunate I was to have the "Road Hazard Warranty". Then he proceeded to check me out saying there were some "small fees". At that point he charged me $64 which included another charge for Road Hazard. WOW! I sure was glad to have the "Warranty"!

"Best in Austin for customer satisfaction" - Here is a lie from the Lambs website. Everyone i've told this story to has laughed at me for even trying Lambs! Still waiting to hear something positive. I hope you are reading this BEFORE going to Lambs.

(Oh and if you complain in person they will do nothing to keep your business...)
