I needed a haircut and color and my regular stylist, at another salon, was sick. So I decided to go to Avant Salon because it was an Aveda Salon. I had my appointment and arrived on time. They took me back and colored my hair. I went to sit in the chair for processing and this is where it went bad. I was reading a book and realized that I had been sitting there for 45 minutes. I got up and asked someone if they could see when I was going to have my hair washed and cut. The woman said she would check and be back soon. Fifteen minutes later no one came to address my situation so I went to the front desk and they said the person that was suppose to cut my hair went home and that they could have someone wash it but that I would have to come back the next day for a cut.

I will not be returning for a haircut or anything else.

I FOUND JEN P. I was horrified when I called and found out Jen P, my colorist had left. I asked around and found she is now at Propaganda Hair Group in downtown Austin! It is a beautiful salon right by Mopac on 5th street!
