DO NOT BUILD OR BUY WITH CLARK WILSONR BUILDER!!!! Was the absolute worst experience you could ever imagine. They started messing up from day one after we signed everything... They first started off by submitting house floor plan flipped to what we agreed on and had to wait 3 extra weeks to submit for new permits. They then tried to blame us for the delay, but was not what we signed or agreed on. On top of that they switched superintendents and our house was 8 weeks behind schedule. Then we had all sorts of issues where their rep, Chris, would promise us modifications and when it came to it, the superintendent said no. We finally got a walkthrough date and close date set and when it came time for the walkthrough, they had no clue of the date and the house was 2 weeks MORE behind schedule. Since our 30 day rate lock was ending the rep, Chris, PROMISED they will be able to extend it on our FHA loan. When the surveyor went out to house, they notated their was a gas line that was within 5ft and the house would no longer be eligible for a FHA loan, could only get a conventional loan. Their rep then PROMISED they will buy down the rate and get us to where we would be paying on the FHA since rate is higher and have to put more money down. I am being serious when I say promised, he looked at us straight in the eye and said HE PROMISED he would do that and to not worry. All in all, he lied. They didn't do crap. Our last and final offer was for them to do what he said and what he promised he would do and in the end he was lying. We had to walk from the house from all the lies and stress. DO NOT BUILD OR BUY FROM CLARK WILSON BUILDER!!!!!!!
