A personable neighborhood bar with ping pong, pool, and trivia every Wednesday night, Gourmands feels so much more broken in and friendly for having just been open a little over a year. When the weather gets chilly, order one of their hearty soups (like Broccoli Beer Cheese) in a bread bowl.

I always seem to order the Cleopatra w/splash of Cholula). Bartenders are very friendly but not in that fake way. It'd be my local if i lived here.

Might as well get the comedically large beer, the 32-oz schooner. You'll feel like a very frugal douchebag. Sit at the bar when Chris is working. He's great. :)
