Jo Ellen's Tacos

Tacos are large at Jo Ellen's Tacos, so for those of you used to paying $2 for one elsewhere, don't balk at the $4 taco menu options. That is both A) still pretty cheap compared to other lunch options, and B) value/size proportional (one taco here is about the size of two at most places). Onto the specific tacos then: The pineapple-marinated pork inside the Al Pastor tacos give them an acidic zing that I love, and the La Delgada tacos, delightfully messy with sauteed zucchini, mushrooms, onions, poblanos, and Mexican cheese are extremely filling. Also a bonus? Warm, salted sweet potato fries, available on the sides menu.
