BBQ plates are so common in Austin that I sometimes think of them in Dr. Seuss terms. "Would you eat them in a box? Would you eat them with a fox?" Maybe you'll hold off on the fox, but at Micklethwait Craft Meats, you'll find BBQ classics like juicy pulled pork and smoked brisket, along with creative, artisanal sausages like the duck/pork/figs/apple varietal. "Would you like them in a house? Would you like them with a mouse?" It's outdoor dining here folks, because Micklethwait is a food trailer with an adorable outdoor courtyard – no mice on the menu yet, but fatter, tastier field animals like lambs do make an appearance. And while it's not green eggs and ham, their fresh (read: non-mayonnaise laden) cole slaw and potato salad may just make you say, "I will eat them here and there -- I will eat them anywhere!"
