What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
The first thing you notice about Winflo Osteria is its classy digs. Seriously -- this place is as pretty as a picture. But more importantly, how is their food? With so many Italian joints in Austin, it's easy to become unwittingly snobby ("you mean to tell me this establishment doesn't raise its own chickens?"), but fortunately, you're in capable hands with the brother and sister team running Winflo. This is one of the few places in town that serves gnocchi, and it's done just right, hitting that density sweet spot between firm and soft. It's also covered with pancetta, which certainly doesn't hurt things.

Sit outside on the fabulous two-tiered
deck. Known for their Neapolitan-style pizzas they also serve classic, Italian dishes. The cocktails are made with freshly squeezed juice, try the blood orange margarita. Don't miss happy hour where you can grab a seat at the cozy, inviting bar. The wine list is superb and is composed of all Italian wines.
