relax and enjoy the tunes - great mix of people - just as interesting as the shows
Pros: inexpensive, great staff

Gruene Hall musically is to Central Texas, what the Armadillo World Headquarters was in the 70's.... Local acts and national acts are all great!
Pros: lots of free music, always friendly, stays the same!
Cons: too hot in summer, bathrooms, somtimes too crowded

Some things never change and that's the truth when it comes to Gruene(pronounced Green). Good place for a brew and listen to good music. Travolta almost ruined it when he came to film a scene from one of his many flops( stupid angel movie). Go there, enjoy the river and a meal.
Pros: texas true, good staff, cheap
