I think it is a nice place to bowl. It always has some type of activities going on for the community. It is a huge place, just dont know why they did away with the fun plex area for kids. Large place, good for parties and entertainment. The crowds there are for all ages.
Pros: Big place with many lanes
Cons: Could use some cleaning up, new vents, paint job

I just went to Bandera bowl expecting it to be really terrible based on what the other guy said. I actually think its one of the nicer bowling alleys in San Antonio. The bowling alley is large it has activities for kids. I dont know where that other guy saw "gangsters" because I didnt see any and I dont think a "gangster" ,as the other guy put it, would be caught dead at a bowling alley. Just because there is a diverse group of people that go to the bowling alley doesn't mean they are "gangsters" it just means bandera bowl has been able to do what most bowling alleys haven't, that is appeal to people of other cultures and races. I think its great for leagues and it is also listed as a PBA practice center. I like it because the leagues are big and competitive at Bandera Bowl.
Pros: Large Active Leagues, Somewhat Inexpensive, Great Parking
Cons: The Ignorant Staff, Pro Shop Availability
