Prices are high - you'll find better elsewhere - anywhere. Forget returning anything - she gets defensive immediately. Forget it if you are allergice to dogs - especially little yappy ones. Don't bother with Ann.

WOW~~Without a doubt, one of the best spa experiences I have ever had. My husband and I travel frequently on business and as soon as we make reservations, I begin searching for a Day Spa for a day of pampering. Of course with a city I have never visited, I have to look at reviews and take a chance. In reading the reviews on Whispering Waters, I came across the one from complaining about the " yapping Poodle and no wraps" and was surprised to see that among the other great reviews. I called and was assured by the staff that I would enjoy my day. At the Spa, I was pleasantly surprised to see water features outside and in. The spa is a short drive from the city but easy to find and worth the trip. In the waiting room I met "Daisy" an absolutely charming 6 month old Bichon Frise. I was assured that she would not disturb me at all. She was so sweet and kept me company between treatments. As for the treatments, I consider them to be among the best I have ever received. The massage was glorious and Britiany really worked on the areas that had been bothering me and between the massage and herbal bath before, all of the kinks were gone. I had a facial next and just for anyone who has never had a facial, robes are never worn, just terry wraps so that your neck and shoulders can be massaged. YOU ARE GIVEN ROBES AND CUTE JELLY FLIP FLOPS FOR THE DAY!!! The facial was upgraded and I am so glad that I did. Ann knows her business well and gives the most in depth facial that I have ever had. We were fortunate to have a mild day and the sliding glass doors were opened to a lovely little stream and waterfall, EXTREMELY SOOTHING!! Terry did a super mani/pedi and also was kind enough to educate me on the area and great places to see. I can only say that this spa rates high in the BEST OF THE BEST and should not be missed!!! To Ann and Staff, Thanks for a wonderfull day And I hope to visit again !!! ( p.s. I did NOT get a discount to write this!!!)
Pros: TOTAL RELAXATION, NEVER FELT RUSHED, THEY REALLY TOOK THEIR TIME TO DO A GREAT JOB!!
Cons: A FOUR HOUR FLIGHT FROM MY HOUSE!!! PLEASE OPEN ONE IN BALTIMORE!!

This place is great! So relaxing and welcoming and all of the services are wonderful! I have received many treatments from a number of spas, and this is definitely one of the best! It is very clean and relaxing adn soothing and I really like how timely everyone is; no waiting for your services and you are out on time! They give you nice warm robes and gowns, clean slippers and refreshing water with tasty snacks while you are waiting adn when you are finished. They are very organized and the experience is worth every penny. I wish I could go every day! Highly recommended!

I've been to spas from California to New York and Whispering Waters is significantly better than most. The variety of treatments, coupled with the staffs' expertise is far superior. The ambience of quiet music, soothing scents, and comfort from the staff 4-legged wonder, Daisy, sets the tone for a wonderful experience. I am a strong supporter of healthy bodywork and Whispering Waters is the best place for renewal.

I've been getting facials from Whispering Waters for about 8 years and I consistently get unsolicited remarks about how great my skin looks--I'm 52 and most people say my skin puts me waaay under 50!! Not bad for someone who was a pimply-faced kid and never took care of her skin in her 20s/30s! I've had other facials but they just don't compare--your face is really deep cleaned at Whispering Waters and pimples are extracted safely. Of course facials are great, but the "extras" at Whispering Waters are what makes the time special--your arms/hands are massaged with hot oil, your neck is massaged, your feet are put in a nice rocking motion for relaxation, etc., etc. Best part is the place is spotless--I've often told folks you could eat off that floor!! I wish I could go twice a week instead of every month! Do yourself a favor and check it out!
Pros: quiet, calming decor, very very clean
Cons: can't get there often enough!

I have been to many spas, However; Whispering Waters Spa is the best overall spa experience ever. Their facility is beautiful and their staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. They are the first spa that answered all my questions regarding my skin and body care. They even exceeded my expectations in educating me on every thing, even on my products i would be using at home. It was truly a 5-star experience. I highly recommend their spa to all.
Pros: Very knowledgable staff
Cons: Wanted more time there

Not that great - inconvenient and substandard location - yapping poodle has the run of the place - only given a towel wrap to wear, no robe - too many products pushed at you - cost is on the high end of the scale compared to similar providers. A real disappointment. Oh, and they offer a discount coupon to customers who post a reivew on this website so I'd be very skeptical of any glowing remarks you might read here.

My afternoon at Whispering Waters Day Spa was EXTRAORDINARY! The staff was talented and friendly. Facility was charged with positive energy yet whimsical and smile provoking. I look forward to many repeat visits. Ann, the owner, created a facial especially geared to my skin needs and was able to recommend products I am enjoying, but no heavy handed sells technique. Britiney's Swedish Massage was excellent, and I am an expericed massage frequent flyer. To end the afternoon, great mani and pedi by Terry which included anti-aging mask for my hands and arms. GREAT EFFECT. The whole staff was so welcoming and offered many unexpected amenities which created an overall FIVE STAR DAY!!!!
Pros: Invigorating Experience!!!!
Cons: Aching to Return.

Having recently moved to San Antonio, my friend wanted to have a "spa day" here in the city. I chose Whispering Waters based upon the positive feedback on their website. The atmosphere was, indeed peaceful, and the employees were very accomodating. However, the services we received: facial, massage, as well as manicure and pedicure were well below what we are accustomed to. We each usually have routine facials and bimonthly manicures and pedicures. Just one example is that our manicure featured neither a soak of the hands, nor a hand and forearm massage. Upon checking out, we were bombarded with no less than 25 products (which were used during our visit) for potential purchasing. When together, my friend and I always manage to have a good time, but we will not be returning to the Whispering Waters Spa.
Pros: clean
Cons: services not up to par
