One of my favorite restaurants hands down!

I have been going to this restaurant for many years now, and I would say if you are ever north of Austin try it out. It is really hard to find great restaurants for my family and I because we are very particular about our food. But when we do go out to eat we go here. First off the food is a great price, the portions, and taste of your food does not reflect the price. I could not tell you what dish is my favorite, but one of my favorite perks to eating there are the rolls. They are really good, and apparently made from scratch. The service is also really great, very friendly, and we just never have had any problems there. When ever we have friends in town we bring them here, at least one night, it?s that kind of place. I think its good family owned restaurants like these that are hard to find, and little treasures when you do find them.
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: have not had any yet

This place is great, and always clean. I have been eating there for almost 6 years and have never been disappointed. Its family owned and operated. The food is totally authentic and handmade. All of the food is cooked to order. The servers are great and the food comes out quick. I love this place and would recomend it to everyone ! They also have great lunch specials. This is the only real NEW YORK style pizza i have had in texas.
- Pros: quick service, great food
Worst Restaurant Ever
by sbrennan0821 at Citysearch
This restaurant was recommended by a friend so we decided to try it. What a mistake. First of all after being seated it took at least 15 minutes for someone to wait on us. Then the waitress knew nothing about the the wine they sold. She wasn't even old enough to drink. We ordered the anti-pasta salad that was filled with black hairs. My husband and I have blond hair. After sending that back I ordered a dish that according to the waitress is one of their most popular, the Carchovie. The chicken was very tough and it had a whopping (2) artichokes. It was awful. You would think that after two bad dishes that the owner would come out and apologize or at least see what they could do to salvage the dining experience but no sign of them. Then I heard the dinner rolls were great. Well, we were there around 5:30PM and were told that they had no fresh rolls and were not making anymore. Go figure. They were terrible. We eat out alot and I am telling you if you are like me you work hard for your money and you want it to count. Well, please do not wast your money here. There are so many good restaurants in Austin that you do not need to waste your time on this place.
- Pros: none, the whole experience was awful

My whole family loves this restaurant. Our favorite dish is, unanimously, Chicken Carchove - it's out of this world. I also love the Linguine with White Clam Sauce. You really can't go wrong ordering anything at this restaurant. They have large portions, we love the roll and you just can't beat the value. It's also a great place to take the kids and I love to support a local "Mom and Pop" owned business.
- Pros: Inexpensive, Great Food, Friendly staff
- Cons: Service is okay, Limited wine selectio
