Cutting a 16-month-old's hair is no easy feat, but the wonderful people at Little Hairkuts never ran out of options to distract and entertain my little ones while they cut their hair. There are a number of ride-on toys to sit in while they get their hair, toys to occupy their hands, a movie to watch, and cookies and candy if bribing is necessary. The toy corner is fantastic to keep one of my girls entertained while the other gets her hair cut.

The stylists are patient, skilled and child-friendly. One of my kids fell asleep while we were there, but they cut her bangs anyway while she lay in my lap, stepping out of the way any time her eyes threatened to flutter open so she wouldn't be too disoriented. The other refused to sit still, but her hair still came our looking perfect as the stylist did his magic, ducking and weaving around my daughter's flailing arms and flying cookies.

I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Very affordable

Each haircutter remembers a face and you can come back in 6months and they know exactly what cut you had. Now with the expansion the wait is unheardof! My kids never want to leave because of the video games and movies!! And while my kid gets his hair done i can now get my eyebrows waxed or get hair highlighted. I definintly recommend for moms and dads,

Very kid friendly, good haircuts, good prices

I have been taking my 3 year old daughter to get her hair cut here for over a year. She loves it. They have cars and other cute things for the little kids to sit on while they get a haircut. For the older kids, they have video games to play. They also show kids movies on TVs that can be watched by kids either getting cuts or waiting for their cut. The staff is friendly and great with the kids. My daughter has always gotten a good cut for a reasonable price.

• Cons: Long wait at peek times
