Best Chill Bar Just Got Better

Lavaca Street has always been one of the best bars in Austin with relaxed people, $1 Tecate Tuesdays, and a great place to play shuffle board. They have recently taken their bar to a new level by creating the best game room in Austin. The new game room has skee ball, pool, pop-a-shot, and the old reliable shuffle board table making it the ideal place to go in Austin for a good time!

If you're looking for a great relaxing place any day of the week, check out Lavaca Street Bar. Newly updated game tourney nights are suffleboard on Tuesdays at 7pm, and pool on Wednesdays at 7pm. Tuesdays are still $1 Tecate nights, which brings out a great and diverse crowd. Lone Star and Miller High Life bottles are $2 every day, all day, and they have various liquor specials during the week as well. Especially during the Fall there is a mix of people from different schools, which makes fun conversation about sports, and everyone remains friendly. I'll see y'all down there Tuesdays for the shuffleboard tourney!

• Pros: great bar games and tourney nights, good drink specials during the week
• Cons: if you're looking for a crazy, roudy bar, go to 6th.

The laid-back, no-nonsense exterior reflects the atmosphere indoors, where wood floors and a tin-paneled ceiling create an informal vibe. Barstools are plentiful and large tables are available for groups. Candid photos of pleased patrons line the walls. The bar appeals to a mixed crowd, in large part due to its casual mood. On any given night, professionals and college students can be seen mingling over drinks and games.

Great for a low key night downtown

Lavaca Street is a great bar for happy hour or having a few drinks with friends. Tuesday is $1 Tecate, don't miss it.
