The neon sign announcing the entrance beckons and foreshadows the mod '60s design of the interior. The bar glows blue in the center of the room, its raised back a prime perch for customers watching the crowd. Retro light fixtures transform one brick wall into a work of art while another is consumed by a lustrous, giant ginger orb. A constant influx of hip, mature singles flock for happy hour and live music.

First time there

This is a more trendy bar than I usually go to. But I did enjoy it. My friends and I were downtown when we decided to go there. I thought it was just do the road. Boy was I wrong. That is pretty much the only thing that I didn't like about this place. I may go back, but the next time, I will get a ride!

Always a good time...

Lucky Lounge is always a good time regardless of the time or year, weather, or whatever events they may have going on. Resonable drink prices considering the location with a friendly staff and bar lay out. Always a great place to start and end your nite.

Friendly, with a mix of every social crowd Austin has to offer. Drinks are great, staff is warm. Not just out for friends.....even friends must wait for drinks. The place is crowded!
