Being new to Austin, I wasn't sure where to get my dayspa fix, but now I know for sure where to go! I got a haircut with Ashley Carter and it was awesome. It is very easy to style at home and she gave me exactly what I asked for and nothing that I didn't. I also had Chris wax my brows and an express pedicure with Gioan. The whole experience was just great.
Pros: Super sweet receptionists and easy parking
Cons: None whatsoever

For my birthday my daughter Chelsea arranged a one hour massage for me at Aziz's. It was wonderful and Linda did an excellent job. I left feeling totally relaxed! Chelsea pampered me with coffee and a tour of the salon and day spa. She treated me like mom, but also like I mattered to Aziz's as well. Great job Aziz's for the people you hire and the manner in which they do their jobs. Great relaxing place to come too. I look forward to more massages and trying out other packages that are offered at Aziz's. GREAT JOB!
Pros: The attention given to me when I walked in the door. I didn't have to wait to be acknowledged.
Cons: Can't think of anything that wasn't great!

I had the best experience at Aziz. I had gotten my hair highlighted at another salon and it turned out to be a horrible orange color!! The following day I went to Aziz. Sarah Horne was my stylist and she was wonderful! We had a great conversation. I felt very comfortable and confident that my hair would be fixed. I left very satisfied and feeling so much better about myself. I would highly recommend Aziz and above all Sarah to anyone. THANK YOU SARAH!!

I got married last weekend, and after the nitty gritty details of pulling a wedding together in 3 months, my morning at Aziz was exactly what I needed. Gina did a great job on my nails, and Chelsey, the new girl at the front desk, offered us wine and refreshments to calm my wedding jitters. I had an amazing time and I will try to make this a yearly thing that I do on my anniversary, since I'm not from Austin. Parking is easy, it's in a huge shopping center. There's places to eat all around. There's a Starbucks close to the salon, but the girls at Aziz will make you coffee anyway. Everyone there seems genuinely concerned about making my wedding day great. I left the salon and the knot in my stomach was gone :) I'd definitly recommend this day spa. The south location is cute, hip, and modern. The staff is experienced But most of all, they were kind, courteous, and interested in making your day AMAZING! Great job! -Melanie
Pros: parking, decor, customer service
Cons: none. reasonable prices for the great service they offier.

My regular sytlist at Toni & Guy would not cut my hair the way I wanted saying it had to grow out more BEFORE I cut it off! WTF? So in desperation I made an appointment at AZIZ asking if they had anyone that knew how to do trendy cuts. They booked me with Raine and when I walked in and saw her, I thought...this is gonna be good! She is fantastic. She is creative, modern and listens to what you want. My hair is the best it's been in years. I love it! I get compliments on it everyday and am more than glad to recommend her to all my friends. So far 2 of them have gone to her with beautiful results. Now the downside is everytime I try to get an appointment again, she's BOOKED!!! Word is getting around that AZIZ has a star. She also used to be a MAC makeup artist and does the makeup there at AZIZ. I highly recommend her.
Pros: Decent parking, good range of services, great location, good pricing and talented staff.
Cons: The best staff are usually booked so you have to schedule well in advance.

I went to Aziz SkinWellness and Salon for a Laser treatment. Unbelievable, I was very impressed and very happy. I really enjoyed meeting such a professional and confident with the service Im recieving. The education that was provided to me by this person for my service, (laser hair removal), was second to none or a least the person I saw, I felt very comfortable and happy that I decided to go for the consultation. I went to many other places trying to decide where to go for laser hair removal on my back but I choose Aziz over all others. Very happy customer.
Pros: Professional, Really Nice place, Upscale, attached parking
Cons: Not enough locations in Austin

I have gotten my haircut twice by Raine Richard and she is really talented and nice. My hair has never looked as good as it does right now. The atmosphere is really good and everyone is really nice. Raine made me feel really comfortable and really listened to what I wanted and was really helpful and has given me great haircuts. I've been to alot of salons and this is by far the best one. I highly recommend you make an appointment with Raine Richard!

I got my hair cut at Aziz Salon on 01/31/08. After growing my hair out for 16 months, needless to say, I was a bit nervous that the person who would finally cut it would cut more off than I wanted. I was very fortunate that I made an appointment with probably the least expensive but trendy stylist, her name is Raine Richard. Not only was she young and contemporary she actually listened and consulted with me and looked at the pictures I brought. She was happy to listen and made me feel very comfortable. I had some damage on the length in the back and she showed me how much she suggested I cut but made that decision mine to make rather than just hacking it off. I really appreciated that! She is very talented and charmingly entertaining! Oh yeah, she also gave me many hair tips that I will definitely use and that were awesome! I LOVE my hair cut, I’m 42 and I recommend her to anyone who needs a great cut! She's very talented! Good luck to you Raine and thank you for making my hair shine! -p.s. Your products smell fantastic

I have been travelling at a minimum monthly to Austin on business for the past year from New York City where I live and work. While I have certainly visited some of the best restaurants ever, experienced world class hospitality at the Driskill and met some of the most wonderful people, I had yet to make as part of my visit a hair appointment for a cut and highlights as I was pretty loyal to my NY people. Well, frantic work/life schedule has made it all but impossible to get to my NY salon, I decided 2 days prior to my most recent trip to Austin to take advantage of a window of time and search out a great Austin salon and take the plunge to try some place new. Well I found it - AZIZ! While everyone there was extremely professional, friendly and accommodating - my stylist Sara Horne, was phenomenal. Her complete non-attitude demeanor matched with incredible talent, insight and care into what I wanted for my hair, along with really great suggestions, humor and refreshing integrity made for not only the best experience, but resulted in a cut and color that I am so thrilled with and has resulted in numerous colleagues inquiry (and yes I shared the name, address, phone, etc) and I will be incorporating into my Austin trips a standing visit for touch up or over-haul. Plus I want to try all of the other Spa related services like massage, facials, etc. Call and book immediately - and ask for Sara Horne, and I am certain that all of the staff are fantastic, I am just partial. Best of luck to AZIZ, while they do not need it!

We hosted a bridal shower at Aziz. Not being from the area (from NYC, LA, SF), we relied heavily on the reviews in Citysearch. Needless to say we were a bit disappointed. The "salon" is a hair and nail salon that pretends to be a day spa. The service area was linoleum and fluorescent-lit. Not luxurious or spa-like at all. We also paid extra for a special room - turns out the room is in the very back of the salon at the end of a circuitous hallway. And the room itself is also linoleum floored, fluourescent lit- a cheesy room. The service (massages, manicures, pedicures) was about the same quality/service as one would expect from a strip-mall nail salon. Our polish chipped within a day, and our "spa manicure/pedicure" lasted about 20 minutes per - completely not worth the price. If prices were half of what they were, then I would have rated them a 3.5 stars. However, since they charge at spa-levels, I have to give them 2 stars because the cost just doesn't justify the underwhelming experience. The owners, aestheticians were very nice and friendly, but it doesn't have the ambience or service level to qualify as a "day spa".
Pros: parking is plentiful, staff is friendly and nice
Cons: poor ambience, not a "day spa", quality of service was underwhelming
