first of all, reviewers should not rate the museum itself based on their website. obviously, people get angry over anything these days. this museum has a very interesting collection representing many north american and latin american artists. their traveling exhibits are also very interesting. some in the past have included exhibits of circus art, and different artists.

Pros: cheap admission, not crowded, interesting artwork

Cons: small

Visit the other AMOA location on West 35th Street at Laguna Gloria. The museum rests on the sculpture-laced grounds of a historic home and boasts a natural amphitheater.
