Awful detailing job and over priced.

My dog vomited in the car today, and I admit it was a nasty job for anyone. However, after paying close to 200 dollars for a full interior detail and waiting 2 hours in the waiting room, I got into my car to find dog vomit still covering the sides of the seats, my shift stick, and around my cup holders. Not to mention, they didn't bother to vacuum the trunk, dust the console, or wipe the dash! Also, I found old nose prints from my dog on the window and hair still covering the floor mats. What exactly did I pay for?!

I recommend to any pet owner faced with a nasty car, or anyone just looking for a cheap and thorough detail to go to Mister Car Wash in Austin. But first clean up the vomit as best you can, because they do not handle hazardous material there. You will be much more satisfied with the service and the amount you'll dish out.

Worst car wash ever! Go here only if you want ruined interio

I only gave Genie Car Wash LAMAR one star because that was the lowest it let me give.

DO NOT GO HERE.

Yesterday I went to get my car washed. Last night I looked in the backseat and there was black streaks all over my leather seats. Worse than that , THERE WERE RED MARKER/CRAYON MARKS ON THE INTERIOR OF MY CAR. I went there to complain and to get them to fix it, and the manager BRYAN refused liability and belittled me. He finally said that they would clean it only as a curtosity to me, but had no liability for the marks if cleaning made it worse.

WORST CARWASH EVER!!

Obnoxious upselling; overpriced anyway

Don't come here expecting any kind of a deal. Coupons are worth almost nothing, and labyrinthine pricing enables aggressive upselling. Took over 1.5 hours for them to wash my car. Unacceptable.

Shotty Wax, Rude People

There is no list of services and prices in sight when you arrive at this car wash. The man who approached my car window (after I had been waiting in line for about 1/2 an hour) was impatient and impolite as I asked him questions about costs of services. I ended up paying almost $100 to have my car washed and hand waxed (even though I did not request a hand wax) and it looked like garbage. There were streak marks all over it and wax residue remained on my car until I had it washed again a month later. This car was has poor service, did a poor job, and this awful experience took over two hours.

Sign said $2.77 a gallon, but charges us $2.99 at the register.

Have used often with a coupon for a cheap wash, but its never very good, just cheap and convenient.

They steal from you! BE WARNED!!

Have been there three times. On my last visit to the WIlliam Cannon location, they stole my purse along with my checkbook and credit cards. Austin PD didnt really care too much, well they felt bad for me but basically told me it was my word against their's. So I had to cancel all my credit cards, my checkbook, have no money for about two weeks, and am out a very expensive purse. To top it off, it was the worst car wash I have ever gotten, even for them. The only reason I go there was because it was quick and cheap. They left white hand marks all over my leather seats, didnt even vacumm the back seat, but hey who can blame them when they were more concerned about making sure I didnt see that they took my purse! STAY AWAY! Im not the only one too! I told a few people what happened and I quote - "Oh I have heard about stuff coming up missing from that place a million times, change, cash, credit cards, cameras, cell phones....etc!" Be Warned!!!!

Great value carwash! Very friendly! Well Worth it!

Very impressed with Genie Car Wash. Well worth the money. I take my animals in my vehicle with me quite frequently and thus get animal hair on the upolhostry. At the end the attendant noticed a spot that was missed (I could barely see it) and redid it. I think his name was Mike. Very friendly people. Will go back there for sure.

Service can be spotty...

Have been going there frequently and usually pretty good for a quick car wash, however, can be really slow at times, especially during lunch time. I asked about a full detail several months ago and got the hard sales pitch to pre-pay and get a better deal. I bought it and went back in a few months later only to find out that it expires in 60 days! Beware, they never mentioned it and put my receipt that had the 60 day expirationin a sealed envelope . I think they do a good job of running cars through in masses and prices are good, but service is not their strong suit.

Best Wash in Town..Hands Down!!!

This location is the best I've seen. Always efficient and friendly! The managment is wonderful, when I had a question about the price..he was very helpful..and understanding. Will be going back for sure!!!!!!!!!

If you want to feel totally ripped off, it's the place to go...!

That was hands down the worst car wash experience ever! They didn't clean what they said they would. I had to ask them to "reclean" the seats, that were muddier than when I drove in. I had to go back twice to get them to clean the cream fabric interior that they turned black along the edges. To boot, I felt covered and dripping in armor all by the time I got home....so, since I was already dirty at this point, I recleaned the whole interior myself. Seriously!
