Rip OFF!

if this girl is really into "saving the environment" she shouldn't charge outrageous prices for these clothes. its just a fad and if you are a true believer in recycling and doing good, you'll avoid paying these prices!!!!!!!!
Won my business for life!
by somefoolsneverlearn
I have been a long time Therapy shopper, and have bought several pieces that I absolutely love. A month ago I was robbed, and almost all of my clothing was stolen out of my apartment. My boyfriend and I filed our losses under our insurance, but quickly learned that we needed proof of the cost of the items stolen. I called Therapy, explained my situation and was so pleased to find that they were so helpful. They were more than happy to dig up my reciepts from more than two years ago. They even offered to help me find similar dresses to replace my wardrobe. I will get back the cost of all of my beloved Therapy clothing and will spend every penny at that store again. Jyl and her crew are amazing, and have won my business forever. They are so friendly and were so understanding when many other Austin boutiques just ignored my phone calls. They made a hellish situation O.K. for me and I will always remember that. The clothes are not cheap, but since I treasure everything that I buy from there, I don't mind spending the money. I know that I will have it for along time and it will be a staple in my wardrobe. Everyone should shop Therapy, and if you don't have the money, save up 'till you do! It's worth it.
- Pros: hands down the best customer service I have ever seen
- Cons: none
Therapy Junkie!
by houstonjacque
I love Therapy. I drive to Austin most weekends to see my boyfriend and spend the three hour car ride getting excited about what I might find at Therapy. There is nothing like it in Houston, or in Austin for that matter. I always find something cool and unique when I shop there. The service is like nothing I have ever experienced, it's like having your own personal shopper. I have things that I have bought six years ago that have stood the test of time and are still my favorite pieces. I tell all my Austin friends about Therapy, and although most have already heard of it, the ones who haven't are delighted to find their new favorite store. Right on!
We all need a little Therapy!

I recently stumbled across Therapy on my way to get my hair cut. I had been looking for a dress to wear to my sister's wedding, and was stumped as to what I wanted. As soon as I told the cute sales girls what I was looking for they were so helpful and really gave me their opinion as to what looked best on me. That kind of honesty is so refreshing! After I got the dress home, my sister changed her mind as to what color she wanted to wear (brides.....ahhhhh!). I was hesitant to return the dress because it was such a great find, but when I went in and told the girls what had happened they were at it again, working really hard to find something that I was equally as happy with. I ended up keeping the first dress and buying a second one for my sister's wedding. Therapy has a great selection, and I know that I will never see anyone else wearing the same thing. I will always remember the friendly staff, personal shopping like experience and flexibility. It's so good to know that there are still great places like this in Austin!!!
- Pros: great service, honest sales girls, incredible quality, amazing selection
- Cons: I can't stay on budget!
Beware the "Bait and Switch" on their Return Policy
by achasen
I told the owner that I would be filing a complaint with the local bureau, and within a week of filing my complaint I was given a full refund.
Beware the "Bait and Switch" on their Return Policy, Part I
by apc99
Certainly the clothes are nice, but it if they lie about their return policy I'd rather take my business to Emerald's (same clothing lines with a much bigger selection, great prices and fantastic customer service).
I went into Therapy with my sister on 7/24/07 and found a Susana Monaco dress that I liked but knew if my husband wasn't crazy about it I would want to return it. I EXPLICITLY asked the sales girl (very nice, petite, black hair) what Therapy's return policy was as we were standing at the checkout counter BEFORE handing her my credit card, and she said "You can return it within 7 business days," so I bought the dress. My husband didn't think the color was flattering on me (although I loved the cut of the dress) so I returned it 5 days later on 7/29/07. The same sales girl was there plus another older heavyset woman, and she asked me if I would like an exchange or store credit. I said I just wanted a straight return, and she said the store policy is on the receipt and they only accept a return within 7 days for exchange or credit. I reminded her that she left off the "exchange or credit" part when I asked her what the return policy was when I bought the dress, and I have a witness who heard the same thing. She apologized (as though she realized her error) and said I was welcome to call the owner the next day.
- Cons: Dishonest about their return policy, Horrible customer service

What a great place to shop! Therapy is a wonderful place to find one of a kind items, amazing chocolate and the friendliest staff in town. The gals who work there are friendly, helpful and fun. The shop is beautiful and eyecatching and it always smells great. By far, my favorite place to shop in Austin.
- Pros: chocolate, dresses, staff
- Cons: absolutely none
Therapy- a plus for Austin
by suekutsche
Whenever I'm in Austin I make it a point to stop in and shop at Therapy.
Jyl has a wonderful eye for style and it's so nice to find something that you won't fine anywhere else in town.
I always get compliments on the clothes that I buy at Therapy.
And, then there is the chocolate!! Who can resist good chocolate?
Therapy is a really fun store and great service from the people who work there.
- Pros: great variety of styles of clothing
- Cons: should let people know that there is parking behind the store
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am a shopper from out of town and I was so pleased with the friendly help and expertise I received while shopping at Therapy. The minute I walked into the store, I was recognized and greeted politely. The women working were very attentive and made great suggestions! I absolutely loved the selection of clothing and topped off my lovely experience with some amazing chocolate! Austin is lucky to have Therapy and their helpful workers. I would absolutely recommend this store to anybody. I can't wait to visit Austin again!
BUYERS BEWARE
by huffliano
This is not the store to buy a gift. I bought my wife a dress for Valentines Day.....cute but 2 sizes too small. They would not even allow her store credit because she returned it past their 7 day return policy. What did they think we were going to do? Give away a $200 dress! I bought over $ 450 in gifts...I will NEVER go back!!
