This place rocks and has for years. The owner Danny Young is the self proclaimed Mayor of south Austin and welcomes every person like an old friend. If you really are an old friend there are hugs exchanged too! The food is wonderful and the service is personal and prompt. For ten years their awesome waitress LaDonna never asked for my order during my weekly visit as she always remembered exactly what I wanted. I am a "Dixie Red Hot" Extra hot with waffle fries and Jalapeno Sam's Ketchup" and a 'suicide' iced tea. This is old South Austin at its finest hour.
